Remadora after the war

3 years old

The morning of Teddy's birthday tonks and Remus woke him up first because after Christmas they didn't want a repeat of him waking them up at the crack of dawn

"Teddy?" Tonks called in a sing song voice cracking open his little bedroom door just after eight AM with Remus close behind

The second all the light came flooding into Teddy's room he bolted up quickly with a lot of messy bed head and stared at tonks and Remus

"Hi mama!" He yelled still staring at the doorway

"Wow you woke up quick, morning teddy" she chuckled walking over to his bed and sitting on the edge. Remus followed close behind and stood at the end of it

"Do you know what today is? It's a very special day"

"Chrimas?" He asked hopefully looking up at her while climbing into her lap

"No better than Christmas, it's your birthday! Today is your day, we can do whatever you want" she smiled down at him

"Can we get foamy drinks?" He stopped and gasped a bit "presents??"

"Yeah! We have a bunch of presents for you"

Teddy quickly wriggled down off of tonks lap to get to the floor before running out the door and down the hall to get to the living rooms here he assumed the presents would be

"Why there no presents" he pouted spinning around to see tonks coming down the hall after he found no presents at all

"I have to get them from my room I'll be right back go sit on the couch with dada"

Teddy sat on the couch swinging his feet impatiently while Remus came to sit next to him

"Happy birthday teddy! Do you know how old you are now?"

"Nope" he said popping the p. He kept looking down the hallway to see if tonks was coming back with his presents

"You're three, can you show me three with your fingers?" He asked pulling him to face him

Teddy confidently held up all five of his fingers "three!"

"Well get there one day" he laughed "look teddy mamas coming back"

Teddy swung around on the couch to see tonks coming back with three wrapped gifts and one small bag

"Blue!" Teddy giggled pointing at the wrapping paper then changing his hair to match

"Yeah! which one do you want first?" She asked laying them all out in front of him

"This one!" He yelled excitedly picking up the first flat wrapped package

He tore off all the wrapping paper quickly like he did on Christmas and pulled out the wand shirt

"A wand mama" he said walking over to her to show her his new shirt

Next he opened the other flat package identical to the first one and pulled out his broom stick shirt

"Woahhhhhh! A broom stick! Can I put it on please please pleaseee" he begged trying to put it on himself which wasn't going well

Tonks helped him put on his new shirt which he loved and made sure to show Remus and even grabbed moony to see it

"Well I guess this one beats out the hippogriff and the griffindor one" she whispered leaving over to his ear while still watching teddy run laps up and down the hallways showing everything his shirt

"Teddy do you want the rest of your presents?" Remus called, still sitting on the couch

Teddy stopped dead in his tracks before charging back to the living room and crashing onto the couch cushions "yes!"

He opened up the SnapBack next which he absolutely loved because he didn't have many hats. He put it on his head then turned around to show his parents giggling

"It's a hat mama!"

Then he opened his last present which of course he loved since it was candies

After all the presents were opened and the wrapping paper was cleaned up they made chocolate chips pancakes for breakfast which were Teddy's favorite

They had to switch his shirt quickly though because he almost spilled a whole bottle of syrup on it

After breakfast was done they let teddy choose his own outfit which was his hippogriff shirt and his new hat

Once they're all ready for the day they headed down to hogsmede to get butterbeers per Teddy's request

But they passed a little shop on the way that made stop and stare

"Mama look a hippgiff a hippgiff a hippgiff! Can I get it please please pleaseeeee" he begged staring at the little plush hippogriff

Remus and tonks both looked at each other before shrugging and going it to get it

"They can be best friends! Moony and um what can I name him? Oh I know hippy!" He chattered while they walked through the sites to get it

Remus grabbed it from the window display and went to but it for him

"Moony and hippy, moony and hippy" teddy chanted clutching his new little friend while they walked off to the three broom sticks

"Happy birthday teddy, we love you so much" Remus said once they were seated and had their drinks

"Are you having a good day so far?" She added

"Yeah! I got presents and hippy and pancakes and foamy drink"

"I'm glad" Tonks said leaning over to give him a big hug

After they got back from hogsmede it was time to get ready to go to the burrow

I apologize for the lack of updates

But I'm back and I have a plan for the next chapter
