Remadora after the war

Lots of firsts

The next day was Saturday so Remus was off for the next two days. The trio took full advantage or Remus' day off and spent every moment they could together.

First they Tonks and teddy decided to cook Remus a special breakfast in honour of his first successful week.  They tried to make pancakes but Tonks being so clumsy dropped the bag of flour and it went everywhere. It also made quite a loud noise which woke up Remus, much to the annoyance of Tonks as she was hoping to keep it a surprise.

Remus walked into the kitchen to find his wife on her hands and knees in the middle of the kitchen switching between scooping up flour and keeping their son away from the big mess so the mess wouldn't become bigger. Teddy found the whole ordeal quite amusing.

Eventually together they managed to make some pancakes and then they all sat down to eat breakfast together.

" so teddy what do you want to do today" Asked Tonks as she began cutting up her and Teddy's pancakes " you can choose anything"

"Anything" added Remus

Teddy sat for a moment looking at his pancakes and thought about what they had asked.

" hogsmede" said teddy quite firmly

" ok what should we do at hogsmede?" Remus Asked as he ate 3 pieces of pancake at once

" drink the foamy drinks and buy lots and lots of candy!!" Shouted teddy. Clearly all the syrup and chocolate he had on his pancakes was starting to take a toll on him

"Ok easy there sugar boy" said Tonks while laughing " do you really need more sugar and candy?"

Suddenly teddy became very serious and his hair turned a dark blue like the night sky
"Yes" he replied while staring straight at Tonks with his arms crossed. Tonks copied him and did the same, turning her hair a dark blue, crossing her arms over her chest and staring at teddy while pouting. They stared intensely at each other for about 3 minutes until finally it was broken by Remus laughing at the two having a staring contest at the breakfast table.

"What's so funny Remus" Tonks asked as she turned her hair back to its usual bubblegum pink. Teddy turned his back to the usual turquoise.

Remus just continued to laugh until he replied
" well it's like I'm living with two 2 year olds"

This was quite true. Although Tonks acted mature when she was at work or when they were with the other members of the order in reality she was quite childish and immature. This especially showed when she was with Remus and teddy. 

"Don't be silly dada mamas not two, I'm two" teddy said as he giggled and held up 3 fingers

"That's right! Nice try buddy" said Remus as he stood up and grabbed teddy from his high chair and placed him on his left hip. He instantly regretted this because as soon as he put him there teddy put his syrup and chocolate covered face into Remus' shoulder

At this Tonks laughed as she stood up to grab some wipes to clean up Teddy's hands and face, and her wand so she could clean up Remus' clothes.

Once she finished cleaning up Remus together they cleaned up their very messy toddler who also had his breakfast down his front and all over his pjs. They decided that since they had to clean his clothes they may as well get him dressed for the day. Like Tonks did before she laid out all his shirts on the floor so he could choose, he chose his red hippogriff shirt. That was his second favorite shirt( his first being his griffindor shirt).

Once teddy was fully dressed and they were all ready for the day they went to go clean up the after math of breakfast.

Together all three of them cleaned and washed the dishes. Teddy loved cleaning dishes because of the water and soap. It was like a bath. Because it was like a bath Teddy's shirt got very soaked and so he had to change but there was still a lot of dishes to wash so teddy decided he would change his shirt himself.

"Don't worry mama I got this" yelled teddy as he walked out of the kitchen and towards his room.
Once he got to his room he realized that he indeed did not got this. He wasn't quite sure what to do first, he thought about asking for help but then decided not to because everyone was busy. He would just have to figure it out himself. After about ten minutes he was pretty sure he did it.

"K mama, dada I'm done" teddy yelled while he walked back into the kitchen

" ok that's gre- teddy what did you do?" Tonks Asked as she turned around, Remus turned around as well after he heard what his wife had said.

Standing in front of them was teddy with neon green hair and what seemed to be his hippogriff shirt still half on but over top of it was his dark blue moon shirt and his red and gold griffindor shirt.

" I got dressed" teddy said very matter of factly

"I think what she's trying to ask is why do you have two and a half shirts on?" Said Remus as he looked between Dora and teddy

" oh that. I couldn't choose so I chose all of them"

" I see" said Tonks as she slowly put down the plate she was holding( so she wouldn't break it ) and grabbed Teddy's hand and led him back to his room.

" I like your style and all but next time I think you should let one of us help you" Remus heard Tonks say as the walked down the hall

About 5 minutes later they walked back towards the kitchen by this time teddy only had one shirt on and his hair was back to turquoise.

" Merlin I don't know what he did Remus, his right arm was completely stuck in his hippogriff shirt" Tonks muttered to Remus

To this Remus could not help but laugh
" ok you two lets go I think it's time we get out of the house"
