Remadora after the war

The burrow

Teddy decided to keep his outfit he was wearing from before and just switch his shirt to his moon shirt instead, he still kept his hat though cause he wanted to show it off to everyone going to his birthday party

Remus grabbed a couple drinks out of the fridge that they had promised to bring, he put them in a bag then called to tonks that he was ready to leave as soon as she and teddy were dressed and ready

A couple minutes later tonks came out of his room with a giggling teddy perched on her hip and moony and hippy who he also intended to show off to everyone attending

"Moyee, moyee, moyee" he chanted laughing and clapping his hands

"He's trying to say molly" tonks sighed, ruffling up the little boys electric blue hair "shall we go?"

"As long as you're ready"

Together they all walked outside of the hogwarts grounds so they could apparate, since they couldn't while still on the grounds

Once they were far enough away tonks grabbed Remus' arm and held teddy even tighter to her body so she wouldn't drop him

Together they all felt the strange feeling of an overly fast Ferris wheel that was out of control for a split second. They landed right outside the burrows door, Remus landed sturdily on two feet quite the contrary to how his wife landed next to him who almost completely toppled over then tripped clumsily but still managed to keep her balance and soon stood back upright with teddy still in her clutch

She took her one free hand and brushed off her black dress and overcoat to rid them of any dirt and then sighed a deep breath

"Merlin that never gets any smoother does it"she huffed

"It does dear, it does" he reassured her chuckling a bit, then looking down at their son

"Sick mama" he whined looking slightly green and queasy

"Oh teddy, I forgot you've never apparated before! Remus he's gonna be sick" she said sympathetically but also quickly rushing to the borrows front door

"Oh teddy" Remus sighed grabbing him gently out of Dora's arms just in case the worst happened and he was sick, Remus would rather it be on him than tonks

Molly quickly opened the door with her signature smile etched on her face but it instantly fell when she saw the frantic looks on tonks and remus' faces and the squirming teddy

"What's happened here?" She asked instantly, her maternal instincts kicking in

"Teddy's just a bit sick from apparating for the first time" she explained, the panic fading a bit since she knew he would be fine with molly around

"We need ginger!" She said quickly, instantly grabbing teddy from Remus and holding him like a baby

She smiled down at the blue haired boy in her arms. It had been over 18 years since she had held a baby and she's forgotten how much she loved it

She loved how they looked up at you with wide eyes full of trust and love. She loved the feeling of warmth that bubbles inside of you as she cradled them close to your chest

After laying teddy down on the nearest couch and giving him a small vial to help with nausea and dizziness, within minutes he was sitting back up and changing his hair like normal

"Hi everyone!" He giggled, waving his small hands to the people that had wandered in due to all the commotion

"Hi mione, hi Ginny, hi Harry, hi mr weasy, hi George, hi gamma, hi Ron!" He smiled looking around the room at all the familiar faces "I'm thee!"

He held up his four fingers trying to show three

Hermione moved from her spot in the doorway to sit beside teddy on the couch

"Hey mione member my wolf, his names moony" he asked Turing to face her and holding out moony to show her

"I do" she smiled

"Well now he has a friend!" He exclaimed proudly presenting his new toy from his back

"Oh he's lovely!" She said gently taking the hippogriff into her own hands "what's his name?"

"Hippy!" He said excitedly jumping in his seat

Hermione grinned at him

Tonks and Remus smiled watching their son bond with all the adults but most notably his god father, he sat and played with him on the floor with his two stuffed animals, he complimented his new hat and shirt. The bond was Definitely the strongest between them

Remus believed it was because Harry didn't get to grow up with his own god father since he wasn't there, so now Harry was trying to do his best to be there for teddy to give him what he didn't have

After teddy played some more with everyone they all sat down around the large Weasley table to eat a lovely dinner molly had prepared especially for the birthday boy

It consisted of a lot of "taters" and is pancakes for dinner which was fine by everyone else

"Mama look it's taters and pancakes and booberries and foamy drinks and cupcakes!" Teddy exclaimed, his eyes widening with excitement as tonks carried him to his high chair at the end of the table "my favorites!"

As everyone sat and ate they all shared stories of old times told teddy stories of when he was a baby and everyone met him for the first time after the war properly

After dinner it was time for presents

He had one from hermione, one from molly and one from Harry as well as a small bag full of sweets from everyone

He tore off the wrapping of the first one from hermione which turned out to be a new picture book about a little wolf she had found and thought was just too perfect for him

The parcel from molly was two Pairs of socks, one was blue with a wolf and moon print and the other was green with little hippogriffs on them

There was also a small sweater Which was technically from Christmas but she hadn't had the chance to see them during the holiday

It was one of molly Weasleys famous knitted sweaters, it was grey with a turquoise T on the front

"Stuck mama!" Teddy yelled while he tried to pull his new sweater over his head

"Oh Merlin" tonks muttered as she helped teddy pull his head through

"Hi!" Teddy said happily as his blue hair finally popped through the opening of the jumper

The last gift from Harry was a sort of child's potion set, it was a plastic cauldron with a bunch of fake ingredients to put in. It also came with a fake recipe book to use along with the ingredients that told you what to put in

"Oh that's so cute, thank you Harry!" Tonks said pulling him in for a short hug

Shortly after all the gifts had been opened they had to go home since it was getting late

They thanked everyone for the presents and molly for the wonderful dinner before taking each other hands to apparate home and hope teddy would be alright which thankfully he was

While they were walking back up to the castle teddy fell asleep on remus' shoulder

They gently lay him down in his bed and he stayed asleep

"Goodnight teddy happy birthday" Remus said placing a kiss on his forehead

"Goodnight teddy we love you so much" tonks said copying Remus and wiping back the hairs in his forehead to kiss it

So I'm back, I hope this chapter was worth the wait

I was watching back the sixth movie and dumbledore said that usually the first time people apparate they throw up so that's why teddy was like that

Do you guys have any suggestions or things youd like to see more of? Ex. The wolf transformations or stuff like that
