Wang Yibo's POV:

"Hey" a hand taps me on my shoulder and I grin when I see a happy Eli.

"Hey, you look happy?" I tease him and he blushes "sweet, what's cooking?"

"Nothing" he grins and when he shifts, I laugh. Eyeing his love bite, I tease him further "Seems someone had a goodnight" I wink and he laughs again.

"When am I meeting Mei again?" I enquire as I place the bottle of juice that I bought for him on the table.

"Um" he looks at his watch "how about now? She should almost be done!" He looks ecstatic and I laugh "Eli, what you have with Mei is so precious, I wish to have it too" and I smile at the memory of last night.

Walking towards her building, we enter the premise and as we're nearing her class, my words falter when I see him, sitting on the piano bench, fingers moving flawlessly. What surprises me even more are the number of students aptly listening to him play! It suddenly strikes me, he's not a student! He's their teacher!

My reverie breaks when I hear a round of applause. He looks up and smiles at everyone present. It looks different, his smile. I realise, it's very guarded, unlike when he is with me. His smile was something that made my heart melt, so this one, it's not his. It's reserved.

Trail of students walk down to him, some are asking him questions, whilst some are praising him. Throughout, he looks extremely guarded. He has his smile in place but they don't reach his eyes.

"Eli, who is this?" I enquire and Eli raises his eyebrows "Don't you know?".

I shake my head and he smiles warmly "That's Dr. Xiao Zhan, he has a Ph.D in Music. He is a part time instructor here, when any of the faculties are unavailable, he's always called to improve the quality" he looks back at Zhan Ge "he's the best. He even helped me improve my zeal" as all the students leave the room one by one, we see Mei walk out with Zhan Ge and her eyes brighten when she sees us.

But my eyes are only for the man standing in front of me, it makes me happy that he immediately recognises me "Bo Di" he smiles warmly and my heart tugs. The smile I am used to, is back on his face.

It seems they're reserved only for me.

"You know Dr. Xiao?" Mei enquires and before I could reply, Zhan Ge replies "Oh, Bo Di more than well knows me. We're very closely acquainted" he grins and my eyes widen.

Eli and Mei look at us and he suddenly points finger at me and grins. Looking away, I leave the pretense "Zhan Ge" I softly whisper and he smiles.

"Are you friends with Mei and" he pauses "Eli?"

"Dr. Xiao" Eli smiles and greets "how have you been?"

"Very well" he replies politely.

"Yes Zhan Ge. Eli and I share few classes together" I answer him "Mei, I know her through Eli"

He nods and walks closer to me, my heart beats erratically, wondering what is he going to do, but all he does is caress my cheeks softly "Mei, Eli could you excuse the two of us?"

"Yes, ofcourse Dr. Xiao" Mei replies and before she could complete her sentence, he threads his fingers with mine and drags me to the end of the corridor, where there is a small room tucked in the darkness. Opening that, he pushes me in and locks it. Slamming me against the wall, he seeks my lips urgently.

His desire hits me and I succumb to the pleasure of ours. His fingers caress my skin like the way he played flawlessly on the piano. He is aware of my sensitive spots and I moan. His lips leave mine and they trail down my neck. Sweet torturous kisses, his fingers trail down the hem of my t-shirt. He slowly pulls them up and his nails scratch against my naval. I gasp and bite his lips. He moans my name.

We're about to kiss again, when his phone rings and the momentum breaks.

Gasping for a minute, he answers his phone "Yes?" He pauses "alright, I'll be there".

He pockets his phone and slams me against the wall roughly taking my mouth in his, gasping he tugs my hair "There are so many things I need to tell you, before we take this forward" he places his head on mine and the  emotions in them are too much for me to bear "go out with me, on a date. You're not casual for me. I don't do casual. Am I a fling to you?" He questions and I answer truthfully "no you aren't" I say and he grins.

Kissing me on my forehead he whispers "I need to leave" he tugs my hand and we both exit the room. As we walk towards the main gate of the university, he looks at me "You need to get back" he laughs "the next time I meet Eli and Mei, I need to apologise to them for my behavior. I acted like a hormonal teenager. You do that to me" he grins.

Bringing me closer he whispers "In my black world, you're my monochrome".

My eyes widen.

He gets into the waiting car and leaves.

You're my Monochrome!

I smile.
