In the world of utter darkness, blooms a musical prodigy. To the world he was a maestro, yet he himself was wrapped away from the worldly being. He was Xiao Zhan.

Unable to hear your laughter, Time is still for me, Feeling your breath, Is one such assurance I need, But life is not the same with you not around, Come back to me is all I want.

Xiao Zhan's POV:
"Zhan" a gentle hand on my shoulders wakes me up from my stupor and I realise it's Ma Ma, Bo Di's mom.
"Ma Ma" I push the chair back and greet her with a bow when another familiar hand pats my back and a baritone voice calls my name softly "Zhan" and I realise it's Bo Di's dad.
"Pa" I greet them and unable to stay due to my guilt ridden heart I smile "Bo Di's swelling has reduced. Please spend as much as time you want with him, I'll be back" I walk into the adjacent room of the suite and open the window to let in some fresh air. By the feel of the wind I could deduce the fact that it was around evening.
"Bo Di, what's the colour of the sky?" I laugh bitterly at this question but was taken aback when I receive an answer from Ma Ma "it's beautiful like your love for him" she pauses and gauges my reaction "You look suprised! Why? I am not lying Zhan dear. I haven't seen someone loving another soul such as you. My Bo is lucky".
I turn away from her sweet words as the pain pierces through my heart. I was not worthy of her praises. How could I be? Wasn't it because of me that her son's lying on the bed? Maybe she could judge my heart because the very next second she took me in her warm embrace and as stunt as I was, that very moment I broke down. It was in her warm hug that I finally wailed. Cried for all the pain that I had bottled up inside me. I just let it all go. Neither she once asked me not to cry nor did she try to give me any sort of encouraging words. She just knew that I wanted to let out my anguish. She was there for me and I was glad.
"Here" she hands me a bottle of water as we sit on the couch facing the window and the warm evening winds caresses my heated cheeks.
"Duì bù qǐ* Ma Ma" I whisper with my coarse voice "it is because of me that Bo Di is in this state. I hope you and Pa have the heart to forgive me".
