Wang Yibo's POV:
"Yibo" Eli taps my shoulders "is everything alright? You look disturbed!" he observes me bewildered expression and trying to pack my instruments in hurry.
"Eli" I pause looking at him desperately "it's Zhan Ge, he isn't well. The doctor was supposed to check up on him today. I wanted to stay back but he asked me to take this test first" I look around trying to find my bag, but the thought of him being in pain gnaws me.
"Yibo" Eli clutches my shoulders "deep breaths. Leave your instruments here, Mei will pack them for you and keep them safe. Collect it later. Do you want to go to Dr. Xiao's place right now?"
I nod.
"I don't want you riding your bike under this condition, I'll give you a ride, alright? I am sure none of us want you to meet with any kind of accident" He smiles and I heave a sigh of relief.
He fishes out his phone and dials Mei's number "Mei, could you come to Ms. Noel's class for a minute?" Thanks" she's on her way.
Moments later Mei meets us and Eli instructs her to keep the instruments safe. "Yibo" she hugs me gently "Dr. Xiao would be alright, belive in him". I nod and we leave for Zhan Ge's place.
As I check my phone, I find mom's message
~Yibo, I hope you're exams went well. Doctor Wallace checked up on Zhan, he said Zhan's fine - Love, Mom~
I sag into the car seat and wipe the lone tear and felt relieved. Glancing at me, Eli looks worried "Yibo, what's wrong with Dr. Xiao?"
Looking at him I smile "It was Zhan Ge's mom's message. He's fine right now. Their doctor checked up on him. Yesterday when we were in the rehearsal hall, I received many missed calls and I got to know during that time, Zhan Ge fell unconscious and was bleeding through his nose" I pause and wipe another tear "they said it could be stress and vertigo but he's alright right now".
"That's good, Yibo" he smiles reassuringly. We soon arrive at Zhan Ge's house and before I get out, Eli stops me "Mei and I will come to meet Dr. Xiao soon. You take care and if you want me to get anything for you, please let me know". I smile and Eli "Thank you, I will. Take care" with a wave of hand he drives away as I enter the house.
