Dear Readers,
This book has been such an emotional ride for me and I am sure it has been one long joyous journey for you all too.
I started this book in and around starting of March when Zhan's scandal was at the top. Every word that I penned down was with a hope that he gets to live a beautiful life. All these months reading about his pain, his scandal for no fault of his hasn't been easy for me as a fan. This book has been a solace where some dear part of my heart believed that he will rise and shine forever.
Today, 28th September, 2020, on account of his 4 year debut in Entertainment Industry, Zhan Ge posted a video of him as a gift to us fans, a statement that shows he's coming back. This makes me happy.
Black hasn't been easy to write for one sole reason that I wanted to base a story purely on love. Is it easy to write a love story? Not really. Why? Because love isn't easy. With this book I wanted people to believe in their own ways that when your heart is right, love will follow.
I will always remember each and everyone of you asking me "When are you going to update Black? We miss it."
I will always and forever cherish each and every character that I have penned down in Black. From Appa, Omma, BaBa, MaMa, Eli, Mei, Mikhail, our EXO boys, Uncle, Fairy and in the end our very own Hua Lian.

It's difficult to say goodbye but Zhan Ge and Bo Di have lived their life to fullest and will continue to spend an eternity together. So here it is me bidding them a warm farewell with a hope that they will always cherish eachother just as music cocoons their soul.
