Bionics Part 2

So, before I get too far into this, I want to say that this might be the last chapter of this story, but do not worry. I will be making a second part to this book after this chapter! I just don't want this story to go on for two thousand chapters. I may have exaggerated with the two thousand chapters, but you guys know what I mean. If you guys want me to keep all the volumes of RWBY in one book or not, then please let me know in the comments! It has been a few days since the beginning of your travels. Everyone is getting bored with walking, but knows that it is for the better good. Ruby is still the only one who knows of your bionics within the group.

"So, Y/N! Let's play I Spy to pass the time!" Nora yelled as the usual goes.

"We already played that for the fifth time in these travels, though…" You replied with a bored, tired tone.

"I Spy with my little eye, something beginning with-"

"Trees." You said seriously.

"Nope!" Nora said confidently.

"Tree." You corrected yourself.

"Yeah!" She replied happily.

"What was the difference between the plural and singular of trees, exactly?" Ren asked Nora.

"I had the singular in mind, and it had to be accurate!" She replied energetically.

"Ren, how have you survived all these years?" You asked with a tired tone.

"With great strength and patience." He responded, letting out a sigh after.

"Hey, Y/N, I was thinking, how about we make a stop here and maybe set up a camp here? We did walk all through yesterday and the night to make more ground." Ruby asked curiously.

"I love you… SO MUCH!" You said as you dived headfirst into the ground where she pointed.

"I love you too." She replied with an innocent voice, smiling at your antics.

"You two suit each other so well! You know?" Nora said happily.

Little did you notice, your sleeve got pulled up slightly, exposing an F/C patch underneath your sleeve.

"Hey, Y/N? What's up with your arm?" Jaune asked curiously.

"Nothing, why?" You asked nervously.

"I noticed a colourful patch on your arm, and as far as I know, we haven't been in contact with paint recently. So what gives?" He asked curiously.

"Alright, I guess I wasn't being fully honest with you guys. Ruby knows the story. When Adam attacked me back in Patch, I lost both my arms in the attack. I then got bionics free of charge from Ironwood." You replied nervously.

"And you kept this from us?" Nora asked cautiously.

"I was going to tell you. I just wanted to keep on the down-low for now. At least, until I fully come to terms with it." You replied reluctantly.

"It's cool bro. Sorry to hear that. I guess I was just curious, is all…" Jaune said with a nervous tone, feeling guilty for pushing you to tell.

You stripped your jacket and your shirt off so they can see it in full detail. You also showed off the shield, the splitting feature, and the rotational wrist motors.

"That is awesome! Way to keep on the down-low, bro!" Jaune said excitedly.

"That is impressive." Ren said calmly.
