I'm back guys. And before I begin I would like to point out that this chapter (and MAYBE the next chapter) will have a reference to Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Extinction. Let's begin.

You woke up on the roof. It was the best sleep you could have ever asked for, knowing you were now living in a new chapter of your life. A life free of crime and a life free of running and hiding. Though what happened next completely freaked you out.

Ruby started talking in her sleep. Then she woke up and scared all hell out of you.

"Y/N!!" Ruby screamed, obviously terrified of something.

"Ruby! What happened I'm right here. I'm here." You say, calming the girl down.

"You... I... I saw you die... You were in Beacon, then suddenly groups of Grimm, and the White Fang. Roman Torchwick!" Ruby said, crying and holding you tightly, refusing to move.

"Ruby... Roman is locked away. He is not coming back I promise you. Atlas has him locked away in a high-security prison. Now, tell me what happened?" You said, comforting the girl.

"The White Fang invaded Beacon. Roman escaped, they released Grimm into the school! You... He... He beat you until your aura was in the red then you fell. Then the White Fang shot you... You died." She said, still crying and shaking like a leaf.

"It's okay Ruby. I'm here. Don't cry. I will always be here." You say, words comforting to the girl as she immediately felt better, tears still running, but she wasn't crying as much. "Promise?" She asked for closure.

"Promise." You say adamantly.

Buzz buzz

"Hello?"

"Hello Y/N. Can you come down to my office, I have a one-man mission for you." Ozpin said a grave tone rose in his voice.

"Um. Okay? Just a second." You say, clearly confused.

"Ruby I gotta go. I will keep in touch and if you need anything. Okay?" You say, showing support for the emotional wreck in front of you.

"O-okay. Please be safe and please keep in touch." Ruby said, squeezing your arm tightly.

"I will." You said. As you turned around, Ruby gripped your wrist and pulled you into a kiss.

"For luck." She said as you began to walk away.

"I love you." You and her said as you part ways.

Timeskip to office.

"Hello, Professor." You say, slightly unnerved at the silence.

"Hello Y/N. Glynda, Ms. Goodwitch told me to bring Ruby up here to. So she will be up shortly." He said. "She said the mission was too risky for one huntsman in training alone." He added on

A few minutes later, Ruby arrived.

"Y/N. You and Ms. Rose are to go to the shady side of Vale and investigate reports of strange activity in that area. I'm sending you the coordinates. You will meet up with four other people there. Rayne, Eclipse, Krauser, and Juno. From there you will enter the area together and investigate. It should not take more than four hours, take your weapons in case. The people working there are reported to be hostile." Ozpin said in a grave tone.

"Okay." Is all you said before leaving for downtown Vale.

When you got there, you saw the people you had to meet. All dressed in a uniform from secret service.
They refused to talk about it.

"I'm Y/N. This is Ruby." You said in an awkward fashion.

"Don't care. Let's get this over with." Krauser said, his voice was rough and threatening.
