JAKE
"Jake, it's good to see that you're awake." Albert steps in front of the glass wall. He was wearing all-black clothes under his lab coat. A tiny lady was standing next to him, wearing all black too.
She had piercing blue eyes and a small face.
"Where's Sherry?" I ask, feeling worried with each second passing by.
"Ms. Birkin is fine, she's resting at a room next to yours." There was a tiny mic attached to his coat. That's probably where the speakers in the room were picking up the sound. "You don't have to worry about her, she's in good hands and so are you."
"Is the equipment ready?" Wesker turns to the lady next to him.
"Yes, it'll be delivered to this room after the subject has been tranquilized"
"Tranquilized?" Just as I said that I began to smell something weird in the room. "Hey! What the hell are you doing!?" The smell was getting stronger and it was starting to hurt my throat.
Shit... everything's starting to blur. I felt my feet getting out of balance, making me nearly hit the floor face first. I could hear the two of them talking but I couldn't understand what they were saying.
I need... I need to get out... of... here...
SAPPHIRE
I woke up and felt something cold on my wrists. I was laying on something soft. I opened my eyes as I sat up and I felt something tug at my wrist.
Shit, I'm cuffed! Wait... Where am I? I was in an unexpectedly clean room, even the mattress looked well taken care of. I tried to pull on the cuffs, hoping that it would break but it was no use. I looked around the room, trying to find anything near me that I could use to break the cuffs. As I looked around, someone stepped into the room.
"Oh, you're awake." He was tall, had dark hair and green eyes. That voice sounded familiar though. I can't remember where I heard it.
"Who are you?" I asked, anxiety slowly getting the best of me.
Calm down, Saph. Can't panic now.
"Doesn't really matter" He walks close to the bed and takes out something in his pocket. A key.
Before he uncuffs me, he grabs my jaw harshly. "Don't you even THINK of doing anything stupid or I will hurt you. Understand?"
I tried to nod but the way he held my jaw was too firm. He probably got my answer and he let go of me and then uncuffs my wrists.
"Get up, move!" He grabs my forearm and pulls me out of my bed, almost dragging me outside the room.
"Ow! Hey!" I whined. He ignored me and basically forced me to follow him wherever he went in this place.
We ended up in an office with two other men standing beside a table, an expensive-looking chair turned to the view outside.
"She's up, boss." The man who was harshly holding me said.
"Thank you, Dylan. You can leave." The guy at the chair speaks up as he turns around.
"Andrew?" I spoke up in disbelief as the guy who was holding me, Dylan, let go of me and walks out of the room.
"Sapphire." He smirks at me, "Long time no see. I'm glad to know you haven't forgotten about me yet."
