JEREZ's POV
Nagising ako dahil sa maingay na paligid. I don't like noises. Tanging ang kapatid ko lang ang hinahayaan kong mag-ingay sa harap ko.
'Who the hell are they?' Sa isip-isip ko.
"What happened to him? May ginawa ka bang bagay na magiging dahilan para mawalan siya ng malay?" I heard Kade's asked.
I wanted to get up but I chose to stay in bed because I wanted to hear their conversations.
"I don't know. I just tell him that I'm pregnant and after that, he lost his conscious." My sister explained.
'Who wouldn't? I was so tired because after I arrived, Lacy, my secretary called me because something had happened to my business in Cebu and I had to take an another flight to fixed the problem. After I fixed the problem of my company in Cebu, I take onther flight again to go home at dito na ako dumeretso because I badly wanted to see my sister. I hadn't seen her for almost two weeks then when I see her, I just found out she's pregnant?'
"I think you shocked him." The asshole said.
"Do you think he'll wake up? I'm worried."
"He will."
"Anyway, maiwan na muna kita. Gusto kong kumain. Nagugutom ako eh."
"Pero kakakain mo lang kanina ah."
Bahagya kong iminulat ang isang mata ko. I saw my sister shrugged.
"What can I do? I'm just always a hungry pregnant woman."
Iniiwas ko ang tingin nang yakapin siya ni Kade. I hate to admit it but I'm jealous. He took my baby sister away from me. Damn it!
"Fine. You want me to cook some food for you?" The asshole asked.
"Nah. I just wanted to eat orange." My sister replied.
'When did she start like eating orange?'
"You're always eating orange. Hena said, you already ate a basket of it." Hindi ko alam kung bakit niirita ako sa tono ng pananalita niya. Pakiramdam ko ay gustong gusto ko na siyang sapakin. "I think you should eat food first before that." Dagdag niya.
"Are you arguing with me?"
Nabibigla ako sa pagiging masungit ng kapatid ko. The way she speak feels like she'd change. Maybe because of her pregnancy.
"No. It's not that what I mean." The asshole said in defeat.
Gusto kong matawa. Kung nagkataong ibang tao ang kausap niya ay baka sigawan na niya. Ganoon kaiksi ang pasensya niya.
"Then don't argue with me. I wanted to eat orange, period."
"Tsk. Fine. Just don't eat too much." Sumusukong ani Kade.
"Inuutusan mo ba ako?"
"No I'm not. Fine. Eat all you can."
Kinagat ko ang dila para pigilan ang sariling matawa. Looks like my cunning business partner was gone and turn into a gentle kitten.
Hindi ko na narinig pang magsalita ang kapatid ko. Nakarinig na lang ako ng mga yabag papalayo at hindi nagtagal ay nakarinig ako ng malakas at pabagsak na pagbukas sara ng pinto.
And with that, I slowly rose from my bed. Kasabay ng pagmulat ng mga mata ko ay agad na naging matalim nang magtama ang mga mata namin ni Kade. instead of seeing him nervous, he remained calm.
Bumaba ako ng kama at naglakad palapit sa kaniya at nang tuluyang makalapit ay malakas na sinuntok ko siya sa mukha.
"What the f*ck was that for?" He asked annoyingly.
