A week has passed and there has been no attempt contact from Valarie. Isac and I have spent allot of time searching through future and present events, to try and find out what will happen but we found nothing. I have been helping Isac with his work, so that he can spend more time with Hayley. He hasn’t told her yet! He doesn’t want her to love him just because she is supposed to. Everyone can see she is smitten with him, she holds his hand every chance she can get. She sits on his lap and giggles constantly like a love sick teenager. It is only a matter of time before they will be an offical couple. Regan is happy for both of them, he hasn’t felt the urge to interfere yet and he loves how happy Hayley is.

It’s only three weeks until Christmas, so we are going shopping today. All the girls have been turning up the charm to convince the guty we are capable of goingalone. I told them I would keep the mind link open constantly, so Regan and Isac can hear everything. Drew was still adamant we weren’t going alone until the rest of the guys started teasing him saying he was acting like an overprotective jerk! So the boys are taking Riley to the shooting range, Drew wants everyone prepared for the worst! Even with Valarie’s threat hanging over us, everyone is in high spirits. Our parents call every other day, to check in, dad has nearly fully recovered and is confident we can keep safe until the Valarie issue is resolved.

I’m in my room getting ready for the shopping trip. We are leaving in just under an hour. I feel Isac before I see him.

“Hey... bro!”

“Hey Iz...can you go into Anika, Gabriella wants you to deal with a job!”

I nod as he passes me a piece of paper with a date and time on it nothing else!

“Isac what am I looking for, how am I supposed to know what do once I have found it and who am I looking at?”

“She said to search for a girl called Machala Trent!”

I nod. Isac disappears. This is not a normal request and I’m feeling uneasy about it already. I lay on my bed and close my eyes.

I’m in Anika Regan is in the lounge at the moment so I’m here stood at the patio doors searching endlessly for the girl Gabriella wants me to see. Finally! I have found the event. The images distorts into a dark room. A girl is asleep in her bed. She looks to be around 15 years old. A light spills into the room and I watch as a chubby man walks in and sits on the bed. The girls eye’s flicker open and land on the man, she immediately looks petrified.

“Please daddy no!”

Oh no! He’s going to hurt her...or worse rape her. I kill the link and fast forward on the girls events the trail ends after 10 years so I look at the last event expecting to see her death. I take a deep breath as the image comes into focus. It’s the girl again obviously older. She is in a dingy flat, empty beer bottles and used needles lying around. There is a long thick line of white powder on the table in front of her. My heart stops as I watch a black mist hover over her head, I don’t know what it is but it’s scaring the crap out of me. The girl snorts the powder and then rests her head on the back of the couch. The mist hovering over her head begins to shudder and begins to cover her, she gasps like she’s choking on thick smoke. The image ends. I did not watch her die! I have no idea what has just happened but I am freaked out. Why did Gabriella want me to see this girl? I search back through the girl’s life looking for answers. She is an only child and lives with her father, I can’t find anything from before the age of three, I couldn’t find anything on the mother, I’ll have to ask Gabriella about that. At present she is 15 years old, the event Gabriella asked me to view is what will happen in two days. She does not attend school, instead her father pimps her out to his friends and strangers for money. She fell pregnant to one of her visitors when she was thirteen years old and her father beat her until she miscarried. She has a strong faith but it is slowly being chipped away by her brutal life! I know this kind of thing happens all the time all around the world. I am not naieve; I know we cannot save everyone! But why this girl? I hear someone clear there throat and nearly jump through the patio window!
