Chapter 12

Wakening up I realize we are no longer in the lounge. I am lying in my bed tucked in the covers alone! I whimper.

"Regan?"

And I begin to sob I can’t hold it any longer, It is all too much my life is falling apart around me and I feel like I am slipping back into a deep, dark depression, I can’t lose my father, or Regan I can’t lose anyone ever again!

"I’m here Baby"...

Regan sits on the bed next to me and starts to stroke my cheek.

“You passed out, Isac told us not to wake you!"

I begin to cry louder now I thought he had left me.

"I will never leave you baby!"

He’s listening to my thoughts, but I don’t care! He pulls me into a hug and slowly strokes my back. I feel exhausted and really hungry.

"I'll go get you something to eat baby"

My heart starts to race as I feel him get up.

"No please don't leave me!"

Regan scoops me up bridal style

"Well we need to feed you, I'll bring you down to the kitchen with me”.

When we get to the top of the stairs I tell him to put me down but he refuses, he carries me all the way to the kitchen. When we enter I see all the guys sat around talking quietly. Mickey notices me first and jumps up.

“Oh princess how are you feeling... you ok? Come here!"

He grabs me out of Regans arms and holds me in exactly the same way not putting me down he kisses me on my forehead. Regan mind links me telling me he will make me something to eat. Mickey will not allow me to sit on my own instead he sits and pulls me onto his lap hugging me tightly, I see Kate looking at us, she catch’s me looking and smiles. "Have a nice nap did we baby girl" she tease's, I giggle, she always cheers me up! Drew turns in his chair to face me.

"Izzie everything is going to be ok, I already have people looking for Stuart, and I am going to try and tail him and find out where his dad is. Isac says the event you saw is a week from now and you know they can change all the time, any little change in the original pattern will change everything!"

I know he is right...we need to change the outcome; I just don't know how that is supposed to happen. I have no experience and Isac is in 'Anika' we would be so much better off if he were here now, He would be stronger and less vulnerable than me! I feel his presence and sigh.

"I will help you sis don’t worry!"

Regan puts a plate of cheese on toast in front of me, and takes me from Mickey’s lap sitting me next to him but not taking his arm from around my waist. The guys are talking about what to do next, they are discussing going to Dover to be with my mother, but I feel the need to stay here I don’t know why, It is so selfish because I know mum will be going out of her mind thinking of my fathers and my safety. I finish eating and feel full I think that’s the first I have eaten in 24hrs!

"Does anyone else think they have seen the gun man somewhere else?"

Caroline asks and everyone stops and thinks a little.

"I sure thought he looked familiar, maybe you can look into the records Caz? See if he has a mug shot?"

Drew's eyes glaze over as he stares at Caroline, she smirks while shaking her head.

"I will get right on it!" She goes to stand and Drew pulls her into his lap.

"Hold on their cowboy!, Its past midnight and I for one am exhausted, we all can't just pass out and sleep for hours like little princess over here"
