Investigation

Another day has passed. Ahron, Benedict and Jacob are all good in this play we are all in and I can see that. Ofcourse, they will do their best not because I was the one who leads them but because we are doing this to tribute one important person in our lives. My father.

His a good man. I know. I could tell. They could tell. That is the reason why I am puzzled by his death. He doesn't deserve that. He only do different things that can benefit others. Kahit na sa huli, lugi siya. Kahit na sa huli talo siya.

Maybe that is the reason why the house of Lavista teaches me to be kind to those who are kind and be a monster to those who act like one. They teaches me to always depend on others attitude towards me. Ever since. I remember when I was a kid I always ask my self how could I differentiate who is kind and who is a monster in every people that smiles at me and says some compliments. And as the time goes by, I can slowly figure it out. But my father, his kind to everyone. I know. His kind to those who are kind and to those monsters that dresses like a superhero. I don't know his reason and I don't want to know. He didn't even ask me to be like him. And Mamá explains why. And I also understand now. Because if I did what my father did maybe I'll also die.

Inayos ko na ang sarili ko para sa pagpasok sa opisina. I choosed to wear a black sleeveless and a Gucci coat and skirt in a tan color. Magkasing ikli ang coat at ang skirt, but it's not too short, maybe four or five inches above my knees? I paired it with my black ankle strap heels.

Dere-derestso ang pag labas ko mula sa kwarto ko bitbit ang bag at suot ang isang aviator. I was shocked when I opened my unit's door and saw someone leaning on the pararrel side just a few meters away from my cousin's door.

"Nice outfit, miss." Hindi ko alam kung compliment ba iyon o ano. There was no reaction and sincerness visible in his face.

"Mr. Luxvart. I didn't know you'll come over? Akala ko may business trip ka ngayon?" That was Ria said. I asked her yesterday to know Mr. Luxvart's schedule but ofcourse by undercover.

Based on the schedule that Ria gave me, mawawala siya ng two weeks para sa pag bisita niya sa mga airline brancehes niya sa iba't ibang bansa. And after that he will have a business meeting in Cebu and in Cagayan de Oro and in Davao. He will be very busy this month that gave me satisfaction kase finally, makakapag focus ako sa plano ko lalo na dahil may lead na kami nina Jacob thou Nicco and Cavin did not keep me up about their where abouts that is why I only doing it with my trusted men.

He smiled, genuinely. "Ah, darling, who tell you that?"

And for a moment I felt my heartbeat skipped. I felt something unusual. I didn't know how to react. Heck! It was to much for my morning! I wasn't prepared! Di man lang ako nakapag kape!

"I didn't know you stalked me. Darling tell me, am I making a progress?"

There's a hint of something in his tone. He sounds so proud about something. Mabuti nalang nakasuot ako ng aviator or else things will go worse.

"I'm running out of time Mr. Luxvart. Now if you'll excuse me? I have a breakfast meeting."

Walang lingon-likod akong tumulak paalis. He run after me. And why the hell my morning happens to be this uncomfortable?! Kaming dalawa lang sa elevator to think na nasa pinaka mataas kaming floor at baba sa parking. How many minutes do I have to stop my breathing?

Malaki naman ang elevator pero pilit kong isinisiksik ang sarili ko sa kanang gilid malapit sa mga pindutan. Nakasandal naman siya sa pinaka sulok sa likod ko. It feels really suffocating. I'm trying hard to calm down but it was too hard. Para akong nag pa-palpitate pero hindi naman nag kape.
