Apology

"Is it really from Elianiere Caravin? She handed you this when you talked to her?"

"Sí señorita. I spoke to her in a fine conversation.She's now in Canada for her business trip and we bump into each other. She recognized me so she asked me to hand you the letter. She wrote it infront of me."

I looked at Jacob standing infront of me. He showed me pictures of Elianiere that he took secretly.

"Your grandfather ask me to stalked her the exact day Mr. Luxvart claims a stake at Davi. He made sure there is no threat on you or in his grandchild since Elianiere once cursed you. And I guess she moves on already? Time heals all wounds."

"I see, Tell them I'll go to the library after a while. I'll just read this. Don't mention this to anyone."

"Alright. I'll leave now."

I let out a heavy sigh and glanced at the letter again. I opened it carefully and silently read it.

Amberianna Gozon Lavista,

I choose to write your whole name since I don't know what to call you. How are you and your daughter? Does Davin know now? I bet he is. His been chasing you for years. He left me to chase you.

I loved Davin for real, he was the man I wanted to marry. I helped him when his mother died. I was there when he cried. We were good friends, but I guess friends shouldn't turn into lovers? It won't work out.

I clearly remember his mother's words to him saying if there is a chance he should marry me. And he did. But with no heart. It was just for a promise he made in his mom. There is no love at all because he only loves you. He only wants to marry you.

I hated you for that. Finding out who you really are makes me more angry. It was too late for me to know that you were the girl my mom was talking. After I called you that night I found out something, that you are related to Lavistas and Lamaxanas. And when you left, there it is. I found out you were the daughter of my mothers passed business partner.

My anger for you didn't spread like a wild fire after that. I suddenly understand where you came from. Those fierce in your eyes everytime I see you look at my mom and uncle. I wasn't aware of what they did. Thanks to you I found it out.

I didn't blame you when my mother died. Instead, I blame myself. We fought one time when I visited her. She said she wants to take me some revenge for her but I refuse. The next day I found out she committed suicide. My uncle blamed me, I understand. It was true. They were siblings so it's normal. I felt bad for everything that happened too.

Even so, I am now moving on. Yes, up until now. My only cousin helped me for my business and it's doing good. I heard you were also doing good at business too. I wish you a prosperous business ahead.

I also loath for your happiness with Davin. I'm looking forward seeing yoi build a family with him. You both deserve each other.

I bet this letter is too long? It feels awkward that I right it impromptu infront of your servant. But those are what I want to say to you. I still don't have the guts to face you since I know now the feeling of having someone passed away. I hope this letter reaches you with my deepest and most sinice apologies.

I am sorry for all the bad things you experienced cause by your father's death, before and for not having Davin right away. May you have a happy family with him. His chasing you and I bet he have ways. That was him, anyway.
