Favor

"Why are so soft to him?"

Hindi ako nag salita at tiningnan lang si Cavin na hawak ang ilang papeles na tinatrabaho din nila dito sa Italy. After all we are still business men and woman here, business should be separated to our personal issues, that's what in my mind before when I was in the Philippines as I took the position in Laza's fuel.

I found out that they will stay here for a week due to business matters while I said we will go back to Spain first since that was what Davin wants.

"Aren't you going to tell Aunt Rianna first? Before you comeback? She might be shocked. Even our grandparents."

"Later. I'll call them."

Hindi ko alam kung anong sasabihin ko kay Mamá. She knows how much I want my family to be complete but I restrained myself. I also know that she's one of the reasons why I wasn't able to see Davin for the past years.

"Take the plain. It's the fastest way to go back to Spain. Only four hours and seventeen minutes." Walang ganang saad ni Nicco.

Tiningnan ko siya ng matagal saka bumuntong hininga. He glanced at me fastly and went back his stare to the papers he was reading. I saw Cavin's swift glance on us and immediately went back to the papers he was studying. I cleared my throat.

"Nicco," I called the attention of my cousin who seems avoiding my gaze.

He dididn't respond so I continued talking as I voice out what I wanted to say. "About the beating you did to Davin years ago,"

"He wasn't that beaten Amber. I know you saw that in the airport."

I let out a heavy sigh, "But his still beaten by you and Cavin when you said to me you wouldn't do anything to harm him!"

I guess raising my voice is the key that was needed so he could throw his attention on me because his now finally looking at me, even Cavin stopped from what he was doing.

I sit up straight in the one seater sofa I occupied inside Cavin's suite since the three of us were left alone here to sort things before we parted ways.

Davin is with our daughter in a near park playing. I let them have time since they need it. It's also good that they were alone since Davin and I haven't settled things between us the awkwardness is still there. I clearly know that.

"I believe we have our fair reason why we did that action."

I throw a sharp glare at Cavin before I spoke, "Then testify it to me right know. I wanted to know what are your point of views that urge you to do that."

"Amber we just did the right thing. Yes maybe, I got pissed off by what I saw that triggeres me to beat him but it was his fault."

"Clear things up, Nicco. Stop biting around the bush."

"Nicco caught him exchange a hot kiss to the young Caravin when we freshly found out your pregnant. Even I, got carried away."

As much as I want to say that it's still not justify their actions before, I couldn't because I slightly felt something stuck in my throat that stops me from speaking.

"I got mad, he was so unfair. I didn't think that he doesn't know your situation alright, but can't you blame me? You are our cousin, our precious  deadly diamond back then. What he did was clearly cheating—"

"There is no such cheating between us because we aren't even an item before."

I heard Cavin loud tsked around the corner and steps near to us before he spoke.
