•Chapter Eight•

It's been a day since what had happened. Honestly, I was still recovering. Last night, I couldn't sleep. I was afraid someone would pop out of nowhere and try to do the same thing those other people had done to me. I had countless scars now, mainly on my right leg and arms.

"When should I tell her?" Armin asked Erwin. Erwin was completely focused on his papers and didn't respond. "Erwin?" Admin called. Erwin then snapped back into reality, "wha—?" He looks down to see Armin. "What is it?" Armin sighs, shaking his head. "I asked if I should tell (Y/N) about the job." He repeated, but in more detail. "Yes."

Erwin the puts his papers down and sighs. "I feel bad. I mean..(Y/N) just started and she already has so many scars. I got mine two months in." Erwin explained. Armin nods in agreement, "What a softy you are." He laughs. "Once you get to know me I open up. Unlike Levi, I actually have emotions." Erwin grins. "Huh. I dunno..he looked pretty pissed when that creep was all over (Y/N)." Armin shrugged. "Impossible. What you're suggesting is impossible." Erwin laughs. "I dunno." Armin chuckles with Erwin.

"What are you two doing?" Hange walks in the room. "I'll be getting (Y/N) now." Armin says his goodbyes and leaves.

"(Y/N)? What are you doing?" A voice behinds me asks. I turn around to see Armin. I smile weakly. She looks apathetic. Her eyes are stone cold. She looks like someone I know, Armin thought. Starts with a L and end with evi. "Hey. I just wanted to let you know that you're going on your first job." Armin weakly smiles at me, which I don't return, I just make an awkward face. "Who's coming?" I ask. "Well, it's you, Levi, Petra, and Reiner. "Oh..okay." I look up and finally smile at him.

"Follow me, we always have meetings before a job." Armin then gestured me to follow him. The only person I really know is Levi and I don't even know him that well. Petra is bitchy, and I have no idea who Reiner is. We proceeded to go to a place I haven't discovered yet. We walk into a big room and kind of looked like the meeting room in the hospital I worked in, but it was way darker and screamed evil.

I avert my eyes to the people in front of me. Armin had left right when we got to the door, I'm sure he said something, but I wasn't paying attention to be fully honest. "Have a seat, (Y/N)." Levi pointed to the chair next to his. I didn't think much of it and sat where I was supposed to. Petra gave me a dirty look and I just rolled my eyes.

"Now that everyone is here, let's discuss this job. Firstly, I would like to introduce you to (Y/N). Our newest and probably our most valuable member of the Mafia. How do you may ask? She is the doctor." Levi spoke calmly. "You may introduce yourselves after this meeting, not in my presence.." Levi spoke once again. I just kept quiet.

Levi continued to speak about the job. It was basically about retrieving the things Jean and Armin had not gotten. "Questions? No? Okay good. Now leave my presence." Levi spoke coldly. I rolled my eyes at that comment. We all stood up and did indeed leave his presence.

I then walked back to the doctor's room and continued my day. I yawned, feeling a bit tired. I haven't had much sleep after the incident. I was about to close my eyes until I heard the door open. It was Petra, who looked annoyed. "Boss told me to tell you that you must bring two weapons. He also said to bring your medical equipment." She then rolled her eyes and slammed the door, making me flinch.

She calls him boss? I just call him Levi. Should I call him boss? That doesn't sound right though. Awhile ago, Hange had told me that he used to live in Japan. Fun fact, I had learned Japanese in Highschool because I was inspired by the culture and cartoons. Maybe I should call him Heichou. No that would be weird. Very weird and awkward. Maybe, just maybe if we become close friends, I'll jokingly call him that.

Why am I thinking about this? Oh yeah, Petra. The bitch if all bitches. I don't even understand why she thinks I'm interested in a cold hearted jerk like Levi. I mean, yeah he did save me like two times, but that doesn't mean I would fall in love in him just like that. Love at first sight is a lie. Like, let's be real.

I have to admit, he was handsome. The time we got drenched in rain and his white shirt had stuck to his stomach. Not going to lie, I looked at his abs. But who wouldn't? Sasha even told me she would have a one night stand with him. Though she knows he isn't that kind of man.

I yawned once again. Maybe I should get some sleep. I am tired and like I said, I didn't get much sleep the previous night. Just like that, I fell asleep.

"She fell asleep." Mikasa stated the obvious. "Yeah.." Eren looked at Mikasa, who just sighed. "She'll catch a cold, I'm bringing her to her room." Eren nodded in response. She proceeded to pick (Y/N) up, who was still peacefully asleep.

The siblings proceeded to head to her quarters. They then bumped into Levi, Armin, and Petra.

"Are you kidnapping her?" Levi asked, annoyed like usual. "She fell asleep. She would catch a cold if she was there for any longer. It's quite cold outside today and that room is the coldest out of all the rooms." Eren responded casually. "She looks so peaceful. I could tell she didn't get sleep yesterday. The bags under her eyes were very dark." Armin smiled. "I would say you have a crush on her but your hella gay with Jean." Mikasa rolled her eyes.

Petra rolled her eyes. "Why are you following me, Petra?" Levi asked. "Oh! I was just going to tell you that I already spoke to (Y/N) and here she is~." Petra said in the most fake voice ever. Everyone tried to hide their disgusted face. "Very well. Dismissed. All of you." Levi waved his hand and continued walking.

Petra looked at (Y/N) once more and rolled her eyes. She then proceeded to walk away.
