Loved For Once (Levi x Reader)

•Chapter Forty-three•

(This chapter will be all about Levi and Kenny. It will be in Kenny's perspective.)

When I first saw Levi, he was skinny, unhealthy, and in worn out clothes. I only came because his mother was dying and wanted to see her one last time, but I didn't know that he was in this condition.

I didn't know he was hopeless.

He was about sixteen at the time. The last time I saw him, he was on his feet and healthy. But after his father's death, I heard his emotions got the better of him and he slowly self destructed.

After his mother's death, I took him in. He was a teenager, but not eighteen yet. As soon as I got him in my home, I helped him get back in shape. I helped in cut his hair, get clean clothes, and even trained him to be the best he can be. In fighting, I mean.

"You have to stay strong, kid." I told him. Of course, he didn't respond. I could tell he was still broken, trying to find meaning in this cruel world.

I was currently the leader of the Mafia at the time, training Levi to be the next while I go off and do my own shit. He definitely had the knowledge, just was lacking the confidence.

By the time he was eighteen, however, he was ready. He had confidence, skill, and knowledge. He was officially the leader of the Mafia.

I of course, left to do my own desires. I decided to start my own unground organization.

At the time, I didn't know the boy was mad that I left him. I soon figured out two years later when he brutally slaughtered all of my guards.

"You left just to start this? You left me to do something I already I have? We could of ruled together, Kenny. I saw you as a father figure, my only family. And you decide to do this and leave?" He shouted. His knife was bloody and his gun was loaded.

You could tell he was a man with great talent.

"You'll pay, Levi!" I shouted. "You think I would just slaughter anyone? These people are murders! I put them we're they belong! 6 feet under the ground!" Levi shouted back.

"You only let me be the leader because it was your sister's wishes. You wanted to use those people to kill me and take over."

He found me out.

He smirked, "I knew it." He then disappeared into the night, leaving me to stare at the dead bodies in front of me.

"Damn you!" I shouted.

Every month I would send spies to come back with useful information, but Levi saw right through me.

He brutally killed all of them.

I remember one time a spy made it out alive. He didn't have any arms. I could tell Levi purposely let him live and come to me.

I just knew it.

Soon, public knew all about Levi. Of course, the police did nothing about it because the Mafia pays them to be quiet. It's just how it goes on Italy.

One day, one of my guards had a little baby boy. She of course couldn't care for it, so she asked me what to do. I took the child and gave it to Levi.

I put the baby in the elevator and left it there until someone picked it up. I put a piece of paper there that said 'Armin'. The mother wanted to at least name her child.

Years later, I find out that Armin is apart of the Mafia. He's apparently a great at strategizing and very smart.

About when Levi turned twenty-seven, I snuck in his place and killed his doctor, Dr. Jaeger. You don't know how much I enjoyed that.

Poor little Eren had to watch EVERYTHING.

Now they didn't have a doctor, which was good for me. What if one of his comrades are bleeding to death and need medical attention? Well that's too damn bad.

No doctor, no medical support.

Well, that was until (Y/N) showed up.

At first, I thought nothing of her. Just another doctor that's getting paid. Turns out, she was very important.

I first went through her files, which was quite interesting. Emilio (L/N). One of the best doctors in Mafia history. That's right, he was the first ever doctor that served Levi's father.

Unfortunately for them, he retired. Usually, when someone wants to quit and live a normal life in the Mafia, they get killed.

Well, Emilio was spared because Levi's mother was quite fond of him. Not in a sexual way. They were friends before she married Levi's dad. She actually introduced Emilio to the Mafia.

I thought it was quite interesting that (Y/N) would be in the same situation as her own father. I bet she doesn't even know.

Well, in order to kill Levi, I will have to kill (Y/N). I recently found out that they were dating and Levi NEVER shows that kind of emotion. Trust me, I know. The only reason why I want to kill him is because he stole my future.

All the money I could be making right now.

I tried killing her, but she kept getting away. I guess Levi was preparing for this. Or so I thought. Turns out, he broke up with her to get her safe. That obviously backfired and were still trying to kill her.

But like I said, she kept getting away.

I'm surprised that she hasn't crawled back to him. What a brave woman she is. Well, it doesn't matter anyway. In the end, I will win and I will kill her.

Then I'll kill Levi.

He'll want to die. I mean, I killed his only love, who would want to live after that? Especially when he's the leader of an underground organization.

Life is hell for him right now.

We're going to capture her, and when we do, I will be the winner this time. I was always the loser of the game he didn't know he was playing. Now, that will change once in for all.
