Loved For Once (Levi x Reader)

•Chapter Thirty-six•

What time is it? My head hurts..

I look to my right to see Levi sleeping. That's right..the last thing I remember was being carried by Annie to this place. I guess we both passed out. And to think Levi did as well. I'm surprised.

I look at the nightstand to see pills and water. There was also a note. It read, "You guys were a mess yesterday. Nothing bad happened though. Take two pills for your headache. -Historia"

I can't believe I got drunk at a wedding. That's embarrassing. One I take the pills, I get up and go to the bathroom. I noticed that we were both still in the clothes we were in yesterday. I feel..dirty. I need a shower.

Once I'm out of the shower with new clothes on, I walk out to see Levi awake. "Good, your awake. Did you take the pills for your head?" I asked him. He looked at me and nodded. "Good, good." I crawl in the bed and snuggle close to him.

"Truce." Levi spoke suddenly. I knew exactly what he meant. No more fighting, no more stubbornness. "Truce." I respond.

The door opened, revealing Hange and Eren. Once Levi saw Eren, he got up. "What was that secret?" He asked. Eren looked at me and I nodded. "It was nothing. She told me to just act like she told me something important." He responded quickly. "Ah." Levi looked back at me and sighed.

"Hange. You got her drunk." Levi rolled his eyes at Hange, who averted her eyes away from him. "Only because she seemed sad. We could all use a break." Hange smiled weakly. "I was pretty sad when you wouldn't talk to me, Levi." I spoke. He turned to me and sighed. "Sorry, I guess. I was also tipsy at the time." He muttered.

"Guess what. While you guys were doing your thing, Annie made a move on Mikasa." Hange then laughed, remembering how it went down.

"I don't understand why people think we hate each other, like..I like you." Annie muttered to Mikasa. Mikasa stood up from her chair. "The fuck? You like me! I like me too!" She laughed. It was obvious that they were clearly drunk because they usually don't talk like this.

"But..other than me..I like you too." Mikasa muttered. "Sweet." Annie smiled.

"It went along the lines of that. I guess they're together now? I mean, who knows if they remember anything. Good for them if they are. It's been getting boring around here and hearing that two of the strongest women in the Mafia are together is something to talk about.." Hange then yawned. "I woke up early just for you two!"

"Yeah. I can't process what you just said. Slow down." Levi rolled his eyes.

Now that the fun is over, it's time to focus on work. No one really did any for the past week because of the wedding, so everyone was behind. There were specific orders from Levi to not leave until your paperwork is done.

...

I was really behind.

"Eren! What happened to you?! The hell did you do?!" A voice shouted down the hall. I quickly got up and ran towards the voice. There stood Armin and Eren. Eren was bleeding on his face and back.

"I quickly ran to Eren and took a closer look at him. "Why are there cut marks on your cheeks, Eren? I asked him as I put his arm around my shoulder and lifted him up. "It was that bastard.." Eren muttered under his breath.

"Be more specific!" I turn to Armin who was walking behind us. "Get one of the higher ups!" I intructed. Eren then laughed weakly, "aren't you a higher up, (Y/N)?" He lowered his head. I sighed, "it doesn't matter right now. I put him on the operating table with him laying on his stomach. "Turn your head so you don't make the cuts on your face bleed more." I order him.

I open the cabinets and grab the materials and medicine that are used for these kinds of injuries. I grabbed a knife and walked towards him. "(Y/N), what are you—"

I grabbed his shirt from the back and cut it open so I could see the injury on his back. "Oh." He sighed in relief. "Looks like someone stabbed you in the back. I'm guessing those cuts on your face wasn't no accident." I wipe the blood away and take out the stitches.

"Shit..it keeps bleeding. I'll have to stitch it now." I muttered.

"Wait—what?! Can I take that sleeping pill??" Eren asked in a worried tone. "It takes awhile for that to take affect. We need to do it now. It's either you bleed to death or I stitch." I take the needles out and lean closer to him.

"Mikasa! Eren is injured! Very injured! Levi and Hange aren't available right now." Armin grabbed her hand and rushed to the doctor's office. "Wait! Don't disturb her..she's probably healing him.." Mikasa muttered.

"Right.."

"This is bad. Kenny has been taking out our spies." Hange sighed. "Well, let's stop sending them into death and think." Levi recommended.

"You're the boss." Hange muttered.

"Eren has been sent though. He's strong." Hange walked over to Eli and pet her. Levi took a sip of his tea. then set the cup down.

Buzz buzz

Hange took out her phone and looked at it. "Eren came back with severe injuries." She announced. "Were lucky he made it back. That boy is strong in his own way.." Levi then focused back at his paperwork, making the room silent.

"(Y/N) is working on him, so it's okay." Hange then put her phone away and sat down near Eli. "I don't know what I could do without her. We would be screwed if we didn't have a doctor." Levi muttered. Hange smiles. "That and she has fixed you mentally as well. You've changed, Levi." Hange then got up and walked towards the door.

"In a good way, of course." She then closed the door, leaving Levi alone.
