"(Y/N)~" Hange came in like a hurricane. I was peacefully doing my work until he came in.

...

I lied. I couldn't get over what happened! I couldn't focus on anything! I kept saying it was a dream, but it was all too real. I didn't know what to do.

Should I hide from him?

No..that's a bad idea. He'll suspect it right away and confront me. Just act like it's a normal day!

"Hello??" Hange waves her hand in front of my face, soon getting my attention. "Huh—yeah? What is it?" I see Hange smile at me. At first it was a pure and sweet smile, but soon it looked like the grinch's smile. It creeped me out.

"We should go to a cafe~" she suggested. That's odd..I thought we weren't allowed to go out of the hideout unless absolutely necessary. "I thought we weren't allowed to leave." I then got up and walked to the door, her hand grabbing my arm only stopped me from leaving.

"Dummy~. The little cafe the Mafia runs. Every employee is a member. Plus, it's not too far!" Hange then tightens her grip on my arm and pulls me out of the room, speed walking to the elevator.

"And where do you think you're going, ladies?"

The two of us stopped dead in our tracks. The two of us had completely opposite expressions at that moment. Hange was smiling while I was terrified. "Oh Levi~. We're going to the cafe the Mafia runs. Wanna join us?" Hange let go of my arm and walked towards Levi, who was behind me. I slowly turned to the two of them.

Too soon.
Too soon.
Too soon.

"I could go for a quick breather from all the paperwork I'm doing."

Shit, he's coming.

...

"Then it's settled!" Hange cheered. "I guess I'm the third wheel.." she muttered. I gasped and hit her playfully. "Smettila!" Translation: Quit it. "Something the problem, ladies?" The two of us turn to Levi, who was staring at me.

I then smirked, having a brilliant idea. "Kanojo wa watashi o karakatte iru!" Translation: She's teasing me! Only the two of us know how to speak Japanese. I then looked at Hange, who just looked confused. I averted my eyes back to Levi, who was looking at me with no emotion. We locked eyes, neither of us backed down and looked away.

"Anata no jishin wa kōkai ni tsunagaru dakedesu" Translation: Your confidence will only lead you to regret. He then smirks, throwing me off guard. I look away from him, making him cross his arms in satisfaction.

"You guys done flirting?"

"Idiot. We weren't.." Levi pinched the bridge of his nose, clearly uncomfortable. "Just for that I'm giving you more paperwork." I wanted to laugh, but sadly I couldn't. If I did, I would probably get paperwork as well. So, I held my laugh in.

"I hope they have the affogato." Man, I would kill for gelato and expresso in a cup right now. "You have such good taste, (Y/N)! I'm on a diet right now, so I can't have it..but damn if I could!" Hange started drooling, which made her look ridiculous.

"You guys are like twelve year olds going to Starbucks and ordering some sugary drink." Levi scoffed. Hange gasped dramatically, "How dare you! Do not compare us to kids! Can a kid kill? Can they save someone's life by giving surgery?" Hange crossed her arms in disappointment.

"You're basic." Hange stuck her tongue out at Levi, who just rolled his eyes. "Well, maybe I don't want to get diabetes. Black tea is the perfect drink." Levi defended himself.

That's new. This is a side I've never seen from Levi. It's quite..nice.

"I shouldn't of had brought it up." I then get shushed by Hange, who puts her finger up to my mouth saying, "shhh."

We finally arrived to the cafe, making the two finally quiet. Hange must really bring a side out of Levi you usually don't see..

..I wish I could do that.

We walked in the cafe and Levi was immediately recognized. We were quickly brought to a back room. It was a very cute place that contained things that the main room didn't. For example, a fish tank. It was beautiful.

"This room is soundproof." Hange said out of the blue. How does she even know that?

Once we ordered our drinks and food, we talked about something other than the Mafia, which was surprising to me. It was mostly me and Hange talking though. We talked about before I joined the Mafia and how it was like.

I left out my childhood I'm purpose.

Levi stayed quiet. I presumed because he knew everything about me.

"Before I joined, Levi and I were actually schoolmates. Of course, I didn't know about it until I followed Levi back to where he lived. Before I knew it, I was knocked out and brought in a room." Hange then laughed. How could she laugh about getting knocked out because of curiosity?

Hange continued, "They let me stay because of my perspective of science. I was scared at first, but I soon got used to it. It's not like I wasn't treated well."  Levi took a sip of his tea. "I mean, to this day you're supposed to be missing. I've heard that people assumed you died." Levi looked at Hange, who just shrugged.

"What it like? Having parents, I mean.." I ask.

I watch as Hange's eyes widen. "You poor thing.." she mutters. "Well..they were always supportive..nice. They always knew what to say to me and I was sad." She then sighs, smiling weakly.

"My parents didn't pay any attention to me. My uncle was the one that really raised me. Then, he disappeared. A year later, he killed both of my parents." Levi set his tea cup down, dabbing his napkin on his mouth repeatedly. "Your mother wasn't that bad.." Hange then looked at me with concern.

"If you need to talk to anyone, I'm free, (Y/N)."

I smile and say a silent thank you.

The rest of the day, the three of us got to know each other better and better.

Tomorrow was the big day. This time, I won't mess up like last time..
