The three of us continued to walk around cautiously. I didn't know what to expect. Would we come across the dead bodies of our allies or enemies?

"Kenny has to be here." Levi muttered to himself. I looked over to his direction. Kenny..his uncle. I learned this when we talked a week ago. He's the leader of these intruders.

As we continued down the hallway, it got quieter and quieter. Too quiet for my comfort. As I looked at Sasha, she was making a nervous face, probably thinking the same thing as I am. Levi had a different expression though. It was cold..ice cold. He kept his eyes on the path we were headed, expecting the worse.

..Probably.

Suddenly, I felt weak. I fell on my knees unexpectedly and my eyes felt heavy. Something hurts on my neck. I tried to rub it, but my arms were numb. I couldn't move my body. I looked around, seeing blurry faces. I soon fell to the ground and closed my eyes.

"What are all those bandaids on your arm for?"

I looked at my arms and sighed, "eh..I tripped. No biggie." I lied.

"Heh, your so dumb! If you weren't dumb, then you wouldn't have fallen. How stupid."

I'm so weak..getting humiliated 24/7.

"Are you listening to me? I called you dumb and stupid!" As they said that, they pushed me to the wall. I let them. I was too scared to resist. To fight back.

"You're just a nobody. If you expect to be something other than that, your stupid to think that. Once your parents kick you out, you'll live on the streets, begging for money like a desperate homeless person!" They continued, laughing at me.

"Oh wait~ it's just your mom! Your dad died because of cancer. I bet it was really suicide. Who would want to raise a girl like you?" They laughed.

No one dared to help me. They were to scared to defend me. I mean, I can't. I'm just a nobody. A kid that was made to be in the background of some story. It's not like I can tell anyone. The teachers think I'm a joke. I can't tell my mother because she treats me the same.

...

"I'm home." I call out as I walk in my home. I lived in a standard home. It wasn't big or small. It was home. Which I hated so much.

I hate this place.

"Ugh. I thought you would get hit by a bus or something." My mother stood in front of me. She stared at me with her cold and emotionless eyes. I wanted to run. Run away as fast as possible.

She's in a bad mood.

"Come here you little shit."

...

I laid on my bed as I held my arm tight, trying to stop the bleeding on my arm. It hurt so much. I felt weak. I soon let go of my arm and let it bleed out. My eyes felt heavy.

I soon fell asleep.

...

"(Y/N)! Wake up!"

My eyes slowly opened. I quickly noticed that I was crying. I decided to ignore that and look at my arm. Nothing but scars of the past. I sighed in relief.

"You were crying! Are you okay? Why did you look at your arm?" Sasha asked me quickly. I weakly smiled, "I'm fine. Nothing but a memory of the past." I assured. She frowned at my response but let it go with a sigh.

"Levi is keeping guard. You were hit with a sleeping dart. Nothing serious. Just had to put a bandaid over it." Sasha smiled at me.

"Thank you."

Soon, Levi walked in. As soon as he saw me, he sighed. In relief I'm guessing? Better not push my luck that he cares.

"Did you come across anyone?" I asked the two of them. They stayed quiet.

Oh no.

"Erwin..he was shot multiple times.." Sasha responded quietly. I quietly gasped. I didn't know him that well, but the time we spent together was always fun. He was always nice and caring under the seriousness he put on his face.

"He fought well. He was a good ally and and a friend." Levi spoke. "We should not let this bring us down. As soon as the sun comes up, they will retreat." He then sat down across from me. "How do you know for sure?" I ask him. "That's what Kenny always does." He tells me. I just nod in response, still taking the death of Erwin.

I reach in my pocket, getting out my phone. It's currently 6:30am. At 7:00am this will be over.

Hopefully.

As time went by, the three of us took turns watching the door. As soon as the clock hit 7, the grandfather clock made a loud noise across the halls. We waited for another thirty minutes, continuously hearing footsteps quickly run by the door. We all kept quiet. None of us made a single sound.

By the time it was 7:30am, Levi opened the door. He still had a gun in each hand, still cautious as ever. Sasha and I were close behind with guns in hand as well.

We walked by Erwin's body. I looked down at his emotionless face. I frowned at the sight.

We soon ran into our comrades lime Hange and Armin. Armin looked like she just cried his eyes out. "Erwin was with us when he got shot." Hange quietly said. Armin was extremely close to Erwin. They were best friends. They were the smarts out of the whole Mafia.

As soon as we found the higher ups, they went in the meeting room. I stood there quietly as Levi discussed everything that just happened. They planned to scan the whole place in case they found dead bodies or enemies.

When that order was given to the rest of the people, everyone did as they were told. By the looks of it, many were traumatized and depressed. They probably went though so much.

The support group of the Mafia, (like myself, Historia, Armin, etc) was told to stay where they would usually be at this time. The each of us had a guard with us. I felt like I was royalty. Even though I am a absolutely not.

To my luck, I knew the person. It was actually Mikasa. Over the time, we've become good friends. We decided to play cards until Levi gave the all clear announcement.

Turns out, that was going to be much more longer than expected. He gave the all clear at 10:00pm. A friendly reminder, they started at 8:00am.

I sighed in relief that it was finally over. Though it the real battle is yet to come.
