Loved For Once (Levi x Reader)

•Chapter Thirty-eight•

"We've gathered more than enough information about her, boss. He seems attached to her. " one says with papers in their hands.

Another person comes in with much more papers in hand. "Sir, her name is (Y/N) and she is twenty eight years old. She is dating Levi Ackerman, the leader of the Mafia.

"And how they met?"

They take a second to look at their papers. After about thirty seconds, they look up, "She got kidnapped by one of Levi's comrades. Blah blah blah..boring.." the person suddenly looks surprised.

"Her childhood is quite interesting, though."

"Hold up, Hold up, Hold up!" Hange screamed, making the argument stop. "Her sister was a witch, right? And what was her sister? A princess!" She screamed.

Hange, Armin, and Mikasa were screaming about some movie called the Wizard of Oz. I don't understand why they're fighting though..

"Everyone shut the fuck up and work before Levi kicks all of our asses!" Eren shouted at the three of them. That made them stop and continue cleaning the garden.

Yes, we are cleaning the garden. Historia was sick today and Ymir was with her, so the garden was empty. I was the replacement, but the four of them had cleaning duty.

Levi noticed how unorganized it was after the wedding, so he made them clean it.

The bad thing was that I was still working as a doctor. I had two jobs today and it was exhausting. I can't believe she does this everyday. She waters the plants, gathers the fully grown flowers, vegetables, fruits, etc, and she makes food out of some of them. I have that plus my normal work, which was mostly paperwork and helping people that are hurt.

It's fine.

"I was thinking about buying a big house with all the important people living there. Plus some people coming in and out of the house..what do you think?" Levi asks. Annie sighs, "Well. Let's think. The main reason is because Kenny knows our location and that its getting pretty stuffy in here." Annie thinks for a second before continuing. That gives time for Levi to speak.

"I would like to see the sunlight and rain as well. We're underground. This place gives too many bad memories.." Levi mutters. Annie nods, "I agree, but the main thing to think about is staying alive."

"If I may, can I give a suggestion?" Jean is suddenly at the door. "Go on." Levi waves his hand, telling him to continue. "How about we build a pathway underground. The house will have a basement, leading to where we are currently." Jean then sits down next to Annie.

"I agree. No one should be in public eye right now. I have a feeling somethings gonna happen." Annie then gets up from her chair and walks to the door. "They'll do anything to destroy you. Mentally or Physically." Annie then proceeds to leave.

"She has a point." Jean mutters. Shortly after, Jean left Levi's office.

A few minutes later, Hange pops through the door and sits down. "I wanted to talk about you buying a house." She spoke. "I was thinking everyone should but.." Levi paused to think.

"I want to live a normal life.."

"Maybe..it could just be me and her." Hange looks up and smiles. "And live a normal life, Levi?" She asked. "I can't, you know that." He responds with a rather sad expression. "She used to be normal." Hange got up and walked closer to Levi. "Maybe, just maybe, it's time to let her go and live life." She then patted him on the shoulder and left.

"She was a doctor, a doctor living a somewhat normal life. Why did I have to ruin it for her?" Levi muttered to himself.

(This next part will be Levi's childhood, so it will be in his perspective.)

I only remember being locked in a cell. Nothing before. I don't even remember being a baby. It feels like I was born as a seven year old in this cell.

Mom would visit me often, but never dad.

"Sweetie, you're okay, Dr. Jaeger is going to help you, alright?" I remember her smile like the back of my hand. She always lifted my spirits.

Dad on the other hand, was emotionless, scary.

"If you want to be the next leader, then you have to get up and fight! Fight until you can't feel anymore!" He shouted.

Ever since I turned ten, I trained everyday to be the next leader of the Mafia. I was taught the many rules and trained the many skills I had to know.

Soon, I became emotionless like my father. And I thought I could be different. That didn't mean I didn't love my mother. She would visit me everyday. It's just I would be all worn out by that time.

That's just how it goes.

"Damn you! You never learn, do you? You're too soft, too innocent! Where is the beast within you?! You're useless right now!" he shouted at me.

Shut up.

"I'll kill you.." I remember muttering to my father. He of course didn't get scared, he got filled with joy, actually. "Yes! That's the side I wanted!" He cheered.

He later was rushed to the doctors office.

At age 15, I went to school. That's where I met Hange.

"You look tired as ever!" She smiled.

There were many rumors about me during highschool. Some said that I lived on the streets. Wrong. Totally wrong. I was definitely superior when it came to money, it was just I didn't look rich.

After I graduated, my father was killed by Kenny and my mother died from sickness.

Life was great.

..I was being sarcastic.

Ten years later, I meet the love of my life, (Y/N). Some said that I would be with a total badass, which is true, but not in the way they expected.

She's confident, loving, and definitely hot. Not that looks matter.

Now, I have to make one of the most difficult decisions of my life.
