Chapter 12

"Who's Mads?" I ask looking Jaden. "No one" he said sitting on the bed. "She's obviously not no one" I said continuing to scroll through the comments. Comment after comment was about some Mads girl. "I swear they never broke up" I read. "They are still together who is this chick" I continued to read. I look up at Jaden. "Are you in a relationship with her?" I look up at Jaden shocked. "No Liv I'm not" I look at Avani and Ant for conformation. "Uh I think we'll leave" ant said pulling Avani towards the door. I look back at Jaden with the betrayed look. "Everyone is saying you're dating some girl named Mads Jaden." How could he lead me on like that. I look down and put my head in my hands. "I promise I am not dating her Liv!" "How can I believe you?!" I shot up. "How can I believe you?" I said quieter. "Trust me!" "I can't!" I screamed back. "Why not?!" He looked hurt. "Because my last relationship destroyed my trust completely" I look down again. "We aren't even in a relationship Olivia!" I look up at him. So this is why he didn't want to tell anyone. I got up quickly. "No liv please I didn't mean it like that" "I think you did" I said running towards the door slamming it shut. As I got out my head was spinning, my eyes were running with tears. I leant up against the wall to find my balance but ended up falling to the floor with my emotions taking over. I was on the floor with my head in my knees crying. I didn't know what else to do. He had lead me on this whole time I don't get it. I hear a door open. "Olivia?" I hear Josh say quietly. I look up at him. "Oh my god liv what happened" he said running over to me. I just looked at him and broke down again. I couldn't breathe I was crying so much. "Liv calm down" he said. I couldn't. He picked me up and brought be back into his room, which Avani, Payton, Amelie, Griffin and Anthony were all in. I literally couldn't breathe. I was trying so hard but I couldn't. He placed me on a bed an crouched down in front of me. They all ran over. "Guys don't crowd her" he said and looked at me. He put his arms on my thighs and held my waist. "Liv I need you to breathe" he said calmly. "I-I-I-I c-c-can't-t" I said trying to catch my breath. I could tell all of their eyes were on me. I was trying so hard but nothing. "What's happening?!" Amelie said frantically "she shaving a panic attack I need you guys to stay quiet" josh said not taking his eyes off of me trying to calm me down. I see in the corner of my eye Amelie hiding her face in Payton. Josh runs his hand up and down the sides of my body and breathing in and out for me to copy. I did eventually I could breathe again. I hugged Josh. "Thank you" I said with a tear rolling down my cheek. "no don't thank me tell me what happened" he said pulling away. They were all looking at me. I looked down. "I think that Jaden's cheating on me." "Wait you are dating?!" Josh said shocked. "Well, no. But like you know. We are definitely a thing." I shot up and looked at him dead in the eyes. "Who's Mads?" "Jaden's Ex why?" Fuck. "Ex?" "Yeah, well I mean she's over a lot but ex yes" "are you sure ex?" "I'm pretty sure" he said looking at Anthony. "I mean.." he said. "What?" I snapped back. "They did break up but they have been really close again recently" "oh" I said looking back down. "Like close close?" "I mean she's slept over a couple times" I nodded. Well we all know that they probably didn't just sleep. "Why would he do that?" I said with another tear falling from my eye. "I don't know" "he led me on, he told me that he wanted to be in a relationship with me" Amelie and Avani came over and hugged me. "It's gonna be okay" Amelie said. No it's not. I think I love him. "Mhm" I say. I pull away from their hugs. "Do you mind if I stay in here?" I said. "Of course not. I will go sleep in their with him, and maybe try to talk some sense into him" Griffin said. I giggled a little. "Thank you" he hugged me then left. "We are going to to bed I'll see you in the morning okay Liv?" Amelie said and I nodded. She hugged me and so did Payton. "I'll sleep on the floor" Josh said. "No don't be stupid we can share" I said. I looked down and realised I was still in my clothes. "Ughhhh" "what?" Josh asked. "I don't wanna go I'm their to get my pajamas" "here" he said getting out a hoodie. "Thanks Joshy" I went and got changed in the bathroom. I walked back out and I saw Avani and Ant cuddling on their bed which made me kinda sad. I went and laid beside Josh. I just sat their for probably 45 minutes thinking. Avani and Anthony were asleep and I thought Josh was too. "Josh?" I whispered. "Yeah?" He asked. "can you hold me?" I asked. I felt the mattress move and he turned over and placed his arm over me. He snuggled his chin into my neck. I smiled. I felt safe.
