Chapter 20

It has now been 2 weeks. We are getting ready to say goodbye. Most of us anyways. I still don't know much about what is happening with me moving, but all I know is that I'm going to miss Amelie. A lot. She's been my best friend through everything for 14 years. She was my first friend. She's was the only person there for me when my mom left, when I was being abused by Elijah, all through middle school when I was bullied because of my mom leaving, through my depression, everything. I have no idea what I'm going to do without. Today is our last show which is in NYC. This has been the most incredible experience of my life. Not only making so many unforgettable memories, but friends. Those friends that have become family. Through this I have gotten famous, even though I hate using that word. I have gained fans. Something I never thought could happen. I have gained happiness. I have gained love, and heart break. I have gained pain, and sorrow. But most importantly, I have gained so many memories that I could never forget. At our Miami show, a girl about 14 came up to me. She said I was the reason she was still alive. She said, "although I knew that you didn't personally know me, I knew that you were always there for me. Looking out for me. Caring for me. And I will forever thank you for that" that made me cry. All I could think was, how in hell did I do that?

We all got up and got ready for our last show. I got changed into this:

I loosely curled my hair and put makeup on. I sat on the bed and waited for Amelie, Avani and Cynthia to get ready. "So Liv, what is going on in your love life?" Avani asked. "You guys would know if anything happened" I said in a monotone voice. "So nothing with you and jay?" Amelie asks. "Am, he loves Mads." "We know it's just been a few weeks anything could have happened" Cynthia continued. "You guys will know okay. I promise" I said. After they finished getting ready, we met the boys in the lobby. I wasn't really paying attention to what was happening when Jaden said, "you look really good." I turned and looked at everyone then faced him confused. "Me?" I said pointing to myself. "Yes you" he giggled. "Oh, thank you" I smiled. He smiled back. We got in the uber and drove 10 minutes to the venue. We got there a little early this time and just hung out. I was seated next to Jaden and he kept smiling at me which made me blush. I turned and looked at Amelie and she had the biggest smiles planted across her face. I rolled my eyes and giggled. "What princess?" He said. I haven't heard him say that in a while. "Nothing" I said. Eventually we went out and had the meet and greet. Not long after that, we began the show. We had finished our q&a and it was time for Jaden to sing. He sung Comatose, of course. Before he began his second song he said, "okay, so this next song has a very special meaning to me because at our first show, I sung it to someone very special to me." We all looked at each other in confusion. "Now, this is our last show so I want to make it memorable for all of us. This very special person has an incredible voice but is so afraid to share it to the world. But today I want that very special person to sing it with me" we were all still so confused. "Liv?" He put his hand out to me. "What? No I'm not singing" I said. "Come on liv, don't you guys want to hear her sing?!" He asked they crowd and they all started screaming. I shook my head. "Oh go on liv!" Amelie said. "Amelie!" I say. "Liv! Liv! Liv" Avani starts chanting and they all follow. I sigh. "I don't even know what song it is" I said. "You'll know once the music starts" he said and put his hand out again. I grab it and stand up and everyone starts cheering. The music starts and instantly I know what it is. All Of Me by John Legend. We sing the song and by the end of us Jaden and I are staying into each other's eyes, holding each other's hand. We sing the final line and then everything is quiet for a few seconds and then everyone begins screaming. I smile and look to the audience. Next thing I know Jaden grabbed my face and kissed me. I kissed back. The crowd is screaming so much louder, and so are our friends. We are kissing for a few seconds and I just know all of the cameras are on us. We pulled away and I look at each other. "I never stopped loving you" he said loud enough that it echoed into the microphone so everyone heard. I smiled. "Neither did I"
