I woke up gasping and sweaty. Another nightmare, I thought sourly. I pushed my covers off and rubbed my eyes, feeling a tingle when I placed my feet on the cold floor of my room. The time was 4:56 am, so I had plenty of time to explore the world as Blood Ivory. I did my normal routine and then dawned my cloak on, unlatch the window, and became a free bird.

In my exploration, I reached the public park. Deciding to do some tricks since no one's around, I rubbed my hand together before grabbing onto a bar and doing a pullover. As I flipped, stood, cartwheeled, and handsprings, I saw a shadow whoosh out of my peripheral vision.

I quickly jumped down, alert, but not in any mood to fight.

"Who are you," I called out. Instead, I was answered with a punch to my back.

Well, that's rude.

I turned around to see who it was, but they were long gone. Suddenly I felt the air behind me shift and I ducked, narrowly escaping a fatal blow to the head. While my pursuer recovered their balance, but I swiped their legs under and gave them 2 solid punches before they held their hands up in surrender.

"Now answer my damn fucking question," I snarled, "Who. The. Hell. Are. You?"

They took off their mask and I was shocked to find out it was a girl, and none other than Eva Riker, Aris's sister, and the Vice President of the Kingstons.

"Blood Ivory," she said gravely. This girl wasn't much older than me. Maybe a year or two.

"I need your help."

I hesitated before replying, "For what?"

"The Dare Demons have decided to declare war with us."

I snorted, "Why do you need my help for that? All you do is grab your gun, pull the trigger, and pow pow. Your job is done."

"It's not that simple," she muttered, "They have Damien Cartell with them."

"Oh," I muttered, "Well that ain't any fun."

"I was hoping if you could help us out. You know Cartell better than the rest of us. The whole underground world knows of how you two clashed at the Spanish Massacre."

I felt myself become angry, "I know him better because I've had to run from him for three damn years."

"You won't need to run anymore. Please. I'm asking this for both the Kingston's and the Vipers. Help us, Astrid."

I immediately pinned her to the ground, "How do you know that name?"

"I know who you are."

"Don't," I yelled, "You won't understand the web of lies I've had to spin to give me such freedom to be both. You don't tell a fucking soul, you hear me, Eva?"

Eva held her hands up in surrender, "I won't Ivory, but in exchange for my silence, I need your help."

I sighed, knowing she got me, "Alright, but you cannot show anything when we are together."

She nodded and left. Not a minute later, a message popped up on my phone; Thanks.

I, being a very punctual person, checked the time and saw that an hour had already elapsed.

So, I tucked my phone in and sprinted out of the park, climbing on trees and jumping from house to house. I reached my window and slipped in, praying no one heard me.

I hid my cloak and mask at the very bottom of my shelf and headed downstairs so I could make breakfast for my growling stomach.

On the way, I bumped into a huge wall and fell on my ass.

"Ow," I groaned.

"You may want to watch where you're going, sweetheart."

I raised an eyebrow and looked up to see none other than Aris Riker. For some reason, I felt nervous.

"You know," I joked, "If you come here more often in the morning, I'll start assuming that you and Hayden made up for whatever rumors I hear at school."

The corners of his mouth lifted into a slight smile before he held out his hand to help me up.

"Oh that," he replied cockily, "That is just a cover, my dear."

He stepped around me as I just stood there, baffled. Knowing this was all too much to deal with in the morning, I put cereal in the bowl and then poured in the milk, realizing that it was about 7 in the morning.

After I finished, I decided that I would have some fun with Sky, Mel, and Feya, so I grabbed two pots and headed up to the closest room. Mel.

She was the drunkest yesterday, so giving her more of a hangover would be a lot of fun.

As long as she didn't kill me after...

I feel happy to present you with another update of 'the Storm She Raised'.

That was weird.

OKAY! SO, here is another update!

You guys know the drill; let me know if there are any mistakes if it doesn't make sense, loopholes; basically, anything a writer wouldn't want their audience to suffer for.

Thanks!!!!
