Iniuwi ko si Lance sa unit ko after we grabbed some food in a restaurant. We ate at home at para siyang patay gutom kung kumain. Pinanonood ko lamang siya dahil ang sarap niyang kumain.
"Daddy, don't you want to eat? You're just watching me." He said.
"I'm fine. Watching you eat makes me full."
"That's strange. The food that I am swallowing goes in my stomach not to your stomach. So how come you get full?"
I can say that this kid is so smart at his age. Sobrang daldal niya and somehow I forgot that I have a problem.
"It's magic."
"Ah no. I don't believe to magic. Here, daddy. Open your mouth." Kumuha siya ng fried chicken at lumapit ito sa akin. "Say ahh."
I opened my mouth at kinagatan ko ang chicken na binigay niya.
"Now, you will get really full because you are eating."
"Smart boy."
"Yep! I am smart. Same with Mommy." He continues to eat at sinusubuan niya pa rin ako.
"What's your Mom's name?" I asked at hinawi ko ang buhok niya na napupunta sa mga mata nito.
"Secret. I won't tell."
"Why?"

"No. I won't do that."
"I trust you but it's better to be safe."
Natawa na lamang ako dahil sa sinabi niya. Ibang klase 'tong bata na 'to. Bata ba talaga 'to?
"What about your full name? What is your full name?"
"Secret din po. Baka i search niyo ako e."
"Don't you trust me?"
"Nah. Like what I've said, I trust you but it's better to be safe."
"Okay."
Nang matapos kami kumain ay pumanhik na kaming dalawa sa kwarto ko. I carried him all the way and he looks so sleepy.
"Mag hilamos ka muna." I said.
"Yeah. But Dad, I don't have clothes. I just brought underwears."
Inabot niya ang bag niya at binuksan niya ito. Inilabas niya sa bag niya ang iba't ibang kulay na brief nito. Merong spiderman, batman, superman like seriously? Does he like super heroes? His underwears look so expensive. They are branded too. This kid is really rich. I wonder who is his family?
"You see, they are all super heroes." Pinakita niya sa akin ang mga brief niya at natawa na lamang ako.
"Yeah. You love them?"
"No. I told my mom to buy me plain underwears because real men don't wear like this."
"So why did your mom buy like these?"
"She said I'm still young so I need to wear them. I don't have any choice."
"Okay. Tomorrow I'll buy you plain, okay?"
"Really? Babayaran ko po ba kayo?"
"Ah no. I'm rich."
"I'm rich too. My father is rich."
"But I think I'm richer than your dad."
"Yeah. Maybe? Let's take a shower po. You smell like alochol."
