I knew things were definitely different between us and it was mostly because he had lied to me and now he has two responsibilities on the way. "Look, I understand if you don't want me but they deserve a father. Especially if he wants to be involved. If not then, that's fine. I really don't care if you want me or then. I just want to know what you want here" I said. "I don't know what I want. Not right now, Rhave. I need time to figure  things out and then I'll get back to you on everything. Okay", he replied.

It kind of hurt but it didn't even matter. I just knew he was too fucking indecisive and definitely needed to figure things out and fast. At this point, I didn't even care if he stayed for them. I just want him to make up his damn mind for once. "Yeah, that's fine. Just make sure you don't take too long deciding what you want because they will be here soon and if by then I haven't heard anything or gotten an answer, I'm just going to decide what's best for me and for them", I said.

"Okay", he said. That's when I hung up the phone because there really was nothing more to say about the babies. At least not until he made his mind up. James saw me outside and came out to join me. He didn't say anything to me and me to him and it was sort of relaxing not to be asked a billion questions for once. The breeze was beautiful just like the scenery. My phone rang again and this time it was someone I didn't want to talk to, it was Daemon.

"What do you want Embers", I asked, aggravated. "Well, hello to you to, Rhaven. It's nice to hear from you so I know your alive and well. So we have a problem. Wynrie. She's going into labor early and yeah... Kind of need your help right now", he replied, very panicked. I began to panic and replied," Where is she at right now? Hospital or some place else?" It was silent for a few moments and then he answered," She's on the way to the hospital. Tate took her there because I'm not exactly sure I should be around her and her baby at this point. It's not something she did but it's her piece of shit brother/baby daddy."

That was honestly smart thinking on Daemon's part. I was genuinely surprised at his being smart about this. I just didn't exactly thrill the idea of Tate being alone with her and the baby but he was better than anyone else I could think of at the moment. I sighed aloud and James said,"Is something wrong? Do you need help with anything?" I could tell he genuinely wanted to be helpful but I wasn't too sure of what he could do to help me.

"I'm not sure if I need help but I do know that I have to go make sure my friend is alright and she delivers the baby and all of that", I replied. He didn't even seem offended (which was good) and he replied,"Okay. That's fine." I got up to leave and he grabbed my hand and said,"Be careful." I nodded at him and headed to pack a quick bag for her and the baby and then leave to aid her.

As soon as I got in the car, my phone rang and it was Tate. "Yes", I asked. "She just got taken back to the room. How far away are you", he asked. "I'm just leaving now so probably like half an hour", I replied. He seemed irritated about it and said,"I'll flash to you, hold on." Sure enough, he did flash into the car and told me to trade spots with him. He drove to the hospital and I sat in the passenger seat.

As soon as we got to the room, Tate decided to wait outside in the waiting room and I went in the room where Wynrie was. As soon as I got to her, she began to calm down and knew she was in safe hands. "How are things going with you and Ryder", she asked. I'm sure my face displayed the answer and she quickly apologized. I tried to reassure her and tell her it was fine.

She began to get closer to giving birth and I knew that I needed to get this done as good as possible.
