The moment

Jamie's P.O.V-
Holy crap I can not believe it. Nik is my boyfriend. Holy crap. And im gonna meet his mom. Wow. I really didn't think this through. No looking back now. I walk up to Nik's house and text him that I'm here. I knock on the door and almost immediately the woman who was with him at the coffee shop appeared, I'm guessing his mom. Then Nik pears over her shoulder. "Hello Ma'am. I'm Jamie." I say and she holds her hand out and shakes my hand. "Finally a face to the name." She says. "Grace is fine. No need for formalities." She smiles. I smile back and see Nik is smiling too. "Well, come on in. Make yourself at home." Grace says moving to let me in. I step inside and she closes the door behind me. "Hi." Nik says "Hi." I say as we get to his room. "Are you sure you want to do this? You know you don't have to if your not ready babe." He says. "I am sure. I want to babe. But I don't think it'll shock anyone but my parents." I say and laugh. He smiles at that then kisses me. Causing me to smile. Then we hear a knock at the front door. Jenny and Luke are here. He looks at me and goes out to greet them. I guess I'll go to. I get up and follow him. Jenny and Luke are talking to Grace. "Well, come on in. It's nice to meet Nik's friends. He's told me so much about you all." Grace says. Then paused. "Dinner will be ready in 10 minutes." She says and walks back to the kitchen. "I'll set the table" Nik says walking after her. Jenny and Luke and I just stand there talking. "Okay, I set the table so we can go to living room or the dining room and wait." He says. "Whichever. It doesn't matter." I say and Jenny and Luke shrug in agreement. Great help they are. He decides to go to the table and wait because there would be no point in waiting in the living room. We go to the dining room and we all sit down. Jenny and Luke on one side and me and Nik on the other. Grace sits at the head of the table. She takes the pots and brings the food around. When she sets the pot down in the middle of the table she says "Alright, dig in." then laughs. We all start eating and then Grace starts talking after a few moments of awkward silence. "So, how is school going for everyone?" She asks. Jenny is the first to speak. She loves being all buddy buddy with all of our parents. "Its actually going really well! I think they should have a bigger library but I am the only one who ever goes in there." Then Luke chimes in and says "I don't think that's what she meant but school is going as good as school can be." Then he laughs and I guess I'm next " um. School is fine. Just can't wait to graduate. I want to go to school to become a Doctor." I say and all of them look at me with shock. "A Doctor? How come you never said anything. My mom works at the hospital" Nik says." And smiles. "Yeah. I do but I just started when we moved here. It's great that you want to be a doctor!" Grace says cheerfully. "So, Nik, do you know what you want to be?" Grace asks. "I haven't decides yet. But I either want to be a lawyer or a therapist." "Wow. That's amazing." Me and Grace both say. Nik just looks down at his plate and smiles. "I just need to figure out how to get a scholarship for either of those." He says.
When we are all done eating Grace asks does anyone want ice cream? I bought groceries yesterday. I have mint chocolate chip, choclate, strawberry, moose tracks, and I think i have cherry cheesecake." She says. "Sure" Jenny and Luke say and Grace asks if me or Nik want any. "Um. Sure." Nik says. "Yes please" I say and she tells us to come with her to pick the ice cream. But when Jenny and Luke stand up and follow. I stop Nik and I think he understands when he nods his head. I want to wait till we all sit back down with our bowls of ice cream and tell them. I'm so nervous. What if it comes out wrong or she doesn't like me or accept us being together. I dont know I need to stop being so pessimistic about it. Okay. We all sit down as me and Nik eat our mint chocolate chip and Jenny and Luke eat their strawberry and Grace eating her choclate I breathe in and look at Nik and he knows I'm ready. He reaches for the hand not holding the spoon and puts his hand into mine. "Um. Actually there was a point to inviting all of you to dinner." He says. I can't believe how fast my heart is beating. I look at him and nod. He says "I actually have something I need to say." He squeezes my hand and I say at the same time as him "We're dating." It was completely silent at first. Just everyone staring and Jenny and Luke just smiled. "I figured that much." They just laughed. A Grace put her ice cream down and engulfed us in a big hug. Nik smiled and I smiled to. "I am so happy for you both. Now dont go breaking any hearts now." Grace says then turns to Nik. "Your father would be proud of you." I can tell her voice was a little strained fighting back tears. He just nods and hugs her. I want my family to be happy like this. I smile at him as he hugs Grace. When she let's him go she looks at us and smiles. Jenny and Luke finish there ice cream give us both a hug and leaves. "Soo." Grace says. "How long?" "Yesterday, actually" I say before Nik could answer. "Wow. Do your parents know?" Grace says. "Um. No they don't. I was gonna tell them tomorrow or sometime soon I hope. They are totally oblivious to the fact that I am gay. They don't have the slightest clue." I say. "Oh. I'm sorry honey. If you ever need anything. I'm gonna be here for the both of you." She says hugging us both. Wow. She really is a big hugger. It helps though so I don't complain. "Well, I'm tired so I'm gonna go to bed. Don't stay up too late. I have to work a double shift tomorrow." She says winks then hugs us goodnight and goes to her room. "So, what now?" I ask. Nik stands up grabs my hand and brings me to his room. When we get inside he closes the door, and locked it. We sit down on his bed and he kisses me. Of course I lean into the kiss. I'd be crazy not to. He has me straddling him as we kiss. I can feel myself getting hotter as the kisses got more passionate and faster. He licked my bottom lip begging to be let in. I caved instantly letting his tongue explore my mouth, I put my arms around his neck and fingers running lightly pulling on his soft hair. His hands running up my back. His touch gave me tingles like every place he touched was in pure bliss. The kiss turned into a full on make out session and was.. escalating quite a bit. "Baby. It's so hot you get so cute you are when you talk about your future." He whispered in my ear then kissing me on the neck. Then he left a trail of soft kisses down my neck and then found a spot on my collarbone and kissed it then licked it and finally started to suck on it. It was out of sight with my shirt on so nobody but me and him would see. I was biting my lip to try not to moan at how good it felt. When he was satisfied with the hickey he left he licked it and then kissed it. He moved the kisses up to my jaw then kissed my lips again. It felt so good to feel loved by my boyfriend. I love saying that.
