Prom Night

A bit of a time jump to 3 weeks later. Prom night.

Jamie's P.O.V-
I am upstairs putting my suit on and Nik is downstairs with Grace and my dad. He insisted on getting ready first. I finally get my hair right and suit straight. I go downstairs to all their backs turned. I cleared my throat loudly so they would look at me. "You look good babe." He says as he leans and kisses me. "You look good too." I say. "Awww. My babies is growing up so fast." Grace says and hugs us both and Dad pats me on the back and says "you too look very handsome together." "They really do. The next step is a wedding. Won't be to long with these two." Grace says and we both are bright red. "Mooooom just get the pictures." Nik says "please" I add. "I'm taking more than one!" She says and smiles.

15 minutes later...
After a whole photoshoot and passing the camera around we finally had all the pictures taken and we were ready to go.

We get in Nik's car and of course Jenny and Luke are waiting for us at the entrance. And they are making out when we walk up to them. This time Nik clears his throat to get their attention.

You can see a tiny bump where Jenny is starting to get a little bit of a baby bump. She's almost 5 weeks pregnant. It's exciting really. Time has flown by so fast. "Wipe your mouth off." I say and hand Luke a tissue. "You look pretty Jen" I say and hug her.

"Oh! I have more sonacrams of the baby! We went to the doctor right after we got out of school yesterday!" Jen says and pulls the actual sonogram pictures out of her purse.

"Awww! Guys! It's so cute" me and Nik look at the pictures. I was looking at the pictures that I didn't realize Nik put his arms around my waist. "Okay, okay, here's your pictures back. If not I'll look at them all day" I say and laugh. "Let's go inside." Luke says and grabs Jenny's hand and me and Nik follow behind them.

We can hear the music before we get to the doors. There's people everywhere in there best dressed tuxedos and suits and dresses. There are people sitting down everywhere and also a lot of people dancing.

We find a table for the 4 of us to sit down. After a while my favorite song comes on and Nik leans over and asks if I want to dance and obviously I do.

We get up and dance for a few songs before a slow song comes on and Jenny and Luke come to slow dance. After a minute we dance and it's like the whole world melts away. We just move to the music.

After a few slow songs the principal announces the prom king and queen. We all clap at the people I don't know but then the music picks back up and we go sit down after we grab some food and some drinks. After a few hours of talking, dancing, and eating people start leaving. We get up and find Jenny and Luke and we all head out for home. When we get home Grace is at work, dad left when we did, and it's just us.

We go up to the room. He plops down on the bed. I smirk and bite my lip. I walk over to Nik and straddle him. I lean down and ever so lightly kiss him then just when he goes to kiss back I pull away. It's been fun messing with him for the past two weeks. But I just wanted to tease him one last time.

I go over to the door and lock it. He looks at me wierd then his eyes widen and I can see the glimmer of excitement in his eyes. I walk back over and resume my place straddling him.
