Nik's P.O.V.-

"Hey babe? Do you remember where I put-" I say and turn around. Jamie is standing behind me holding my keys out to me. "These what your looking for?" He asks "Yes. Thanks Babe, what would I do without you?" I say kissing him. "Probably forget your keys and wallet everywhere" he says laughing "Well, when I get home, we have to go meet up with your dad. He found a couple places for us to look at." I say "I know I'm so excited!" Jamie says "I know you are Babe. I might be by the cafe for lunch" I say smiling as we both go to our separate cars, heading to work.

I walk into the firm and the receptionist greets me like she's done every morning. "Morning Mr. Davidson" she says "Good Morning Kelly" I say walking to the elevator. I walk in and get my files for the day. Mariella sits down beside me. "Are you excited for your big day? It's coming up pretty soon if I remember correctly." She says. "Yes, and yes. Two weeks from today actually." I say smiling reading through the file. "You don't sound to excited but your face does" she says and laughs taking a file from the stack. "Well the faster I get done with these the faster I get to go home and that means seeing him and we are going to look at a house today. I am extremely excited but I need to get my work done then we can talk about it" I say flipping through the file.

"Fine. I guess you don't want to know where Jason is taking me for my birthday this weekend." She says and sighs. "Omg. Mariella. Why did you not tell me that your birthday is this weekend!?" I say "well, you've got your wedding so close and have been working so hard I thought it would just add to your stress" Mariella says. "That's sweet. Mariella. I promise I'll make it up to you." I say as Jason walks over smiling. "Hey Jason" I said "Hey Nik" he says. Soon it was Lunch time. Right before we went on break Mr. Zuckerman asks to see me in his office. "I'll catch up outside" I say to Mariella. I knock on his office door. "Come in" he says looking up as I walk in. "You needed to see me Mr. Zuckerman?" I ask

"Yes, Nik. Have a seat. It will only take a minute." He says and closes his laptop. I sit in the chair he was motioning to. "You are doing very well in your position. I was talking it over with a few of your coworkers and you seem to get your material correct more than half of your coworkers can who have working here for a while. So when you come back after your honeymoon I would like to be my legal secretary and you can still help out with the files if you'd like." He says "I. Wow." I say because honestly I don't know what to say. "It is a few more hours, but with the summer I can work around. But when school starts back it will be the same hours as before. It also comes with a pay raise to $20/per hour. If that makes the decision easier. Let me know by the end of the week if you'll take it or not." Mr. Zuckerman says

"Um. Okay I will think about it. Thank you." I say standing up as there is a knock on the door. A tall man with two small children opens the door. I smile at the kids and they both giggle. "Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt. Kelly said everybody was on break already." The tall man says and the kids struggle and get out of the man's arms running to him screaming "Daddy!" "I'll get out of your way. Your kids are adorable. I was just about to leave." I say smiling and leaving his office. I walk outside to where Mariella and Jason were talking. "Let's go!" Mariella says shoving us in her car. I text Jamie that we are going to the coffeeshop for lunch again. We go into the coffee shop and I still have a big smile plastered on my face.

We walk in and Jamie has made all three of our usual drinks and brings them to our table and sits down. "What's with the smile Baby?" He says and then kisses me. I look over and Mariella and Jason aren't paying us a bit of attention. "Mr. Zuckerman offered me a promotion. I would get a raise to $20 an hour. But the thing is it's a few more hours. Well until school starts back." I said "Do you want it?" He asks "I think we could use it. It would only be for three months of extra hours Babe. But that's a lot of money. It would also put me higher in ranks." I said "If that's what you want Baby. I say go for it" he said smiling. "Now is that why your smiling?" He asks

"I mean. Not really. When I was in his office his husband and their kids came in because Kelly said nobody was left but him. Anyways after I seen the kids I couldn't stop smiling. Like I dont know why but when I smiled at them they giggled and it was adorable." I said "Baby we could always apply for the adoption now. Or after we look at the houses today" he says "I know but what if we don't like the houses or we don't get the house or" I said

"Baby. It's okay. Don't worry so much" he says and kisses me. We drink our coffee and eat the sandwiches that were packed for lunch. "How do you get even more adorable every single time that I see you two together?" Mariella says and Jamie giggles at that probably remembering our one year dating anniversary.

"He keeps getting even more adorable by the day so it's probably just him." I say wrapping my arm around his waist as he hides his face in my chest. "Babe, I have no idea why your so giggly all of a sudden." I said knowing good and well that I do. "Y'all have only been together for about a year?" Jason asks "A little over a year. Our one year was like six weeks ago." I said
