Planning Suprises

Nik's P.O.V-
I wake up to my annoying alarm clock not wanting to get up. Jamie is still cuddled up on top of me. I really don't want to move now. I just look at him and watch as he slowly wakes up while my mom walks in to get us up. I look over at her and then Jamie looks over at her and smiles. "Morning boys! I made breakfast!" She says "We'll be down in a minute mom." I say as he gets out of my arms and yawns. How cute is that I get to wake up with my boyfriend every morning curled up in my bed. Dont even get me started on his messy morning hair. "Babe?" He says and looks at me confused then he laughs. "Come on." he said attempting to drag me to my closet and I just smile at how hot he is. "Okay, okay." I say and walk the other like three steps to the closet and throw some clothes on. We go downstairs and the food smells so good. She sets a plate in front of all of us. "Grace this is so good!" He says once hes swallowed the pancake after thoroughly chewing it this time. "Oh, I'm so glad you liked it honey! You know you can call me mom if you want. You basically live here." Mom says and laughs as my face goes bright red and he just smiles. "I'm gonna go get our bookbags" he says and goes and grabs our bookbags. While hes out of earshot I say "So mom. His birthday is Saturday and I was wondering if you could help me with something.." I look up at her and she's smiling widely at me. "Sure honey. What do you need help with?!?!" She says excitedly. As we hear footsteps coming down the stairs I just say "I'll text you what I need." As Jamie enters the room. "We better go before we're late!" I say and grab my keys from the table and bookbag from Jamie. As I close the door and we walk to my car. Okay so I have a plan for more than one event planned over the next week or two. I really hope he likes it. "So. You never finished your sentence last night..." I say. "Oh, yeah. Well we got distracted in the middle of me telling you." He says. We get in the car and I pull out of the driveway. "I was gonna say that all that I really want for my birthday is a art kit or something with art or books or photography or something. I don't really know." "Okay, if anything else comes to mind let me know." I say as we pull into the school parking lot. I pull out my phone when we get to class and text my mom the things Jamie said he wanted and some other supplies for my suprises. I may or may not have something planned for his birthday.... and prom. Well, one thing at a time but I was also talking to Jenny and Luke about both and they want to help, my mom's gonna buy the stuff and I told her I'd pay her back. Those people who were talking to me yesterday were gonna help me with the whole prom suprise but I wasn't going to tell him that. Plus, it wasnt a lie because they were also asking questions about us. I finish my thought and the bell rings for class to start and the teacher walks in just at the last ring and shuts the door and starts class. The rest of classes flies by and it's lunch time. We meet at the same spot we always do and Jenny calls Jamie on video call so we can see them. "Hey Jenny. How'd it go?" He asks "So. I definitely am pregnant. The doctor confirmed that. She gave me pictures of the little baby. It's like 4 inches big. She told us that we have a few weeks to figure out if we want to have an abortion or not but I absolutely am not going to do that. But if we decide that we don't want the baby there is always adoption. But I know for damn sure I'm not going to kill this baby." She says the last part very confidently. "Have you told your parents?" I ask "um. No. Luke is on the phone with his. I know this was not what anyone would have planned. I don't even understand how that happened cuz we used protection but I guess that's why it's not 100% effective." She says and then sighs. Then Luke walks into the room his face completely neutral "hey guys" he says when he comes over and sits beside Jen on the doctor bed. "How'd your parents take it...?" Jen asked. "Well, at first they were kinda pissed at me. But then I explained what happened and that I was taking responsibility and all that and they told me that I had to get a job if we were planning on keeping it." He said a little out of breath. "I know this sounds really crazy but, I know I was upset yesterday but. I think seeing the baby and all really made it I don't know real. I. I think I want to keep it.." she says then looks up at Luke. "Okay, then let's go tell your parents I guess." Luke says and let's out a shaky breath. "We know you can do it guys." Me and Jamie tell them and then tell them bye as we have 5 more minutes left of lunch. "I'm happy for them." He says and then leans his head on my shoulder. "Me too." I say and lean my head on his. We stay like that until it's time for us to go back to class. The rest of the day goes by pretty slow for a Thurday. Then finally the bell rings ending the school day. When my stuff is packed and I close my locker I walk to Jamie where he's closing his locker we head to my car. When we get there we put out bags in the back and head home. Tomorrow I'm gonna do it. It's exactly a month until prom tomorrow and it's a Friday. I got a text from my mom saying that she got all of the stuff for both prom and his birthday. I hope he likes it. We go finish our homework and I hear mom come in. I tell Jamie that I'm gonna go get a snack and when I go down I help my mom put the stuff in place and leave the prom stuff outside for Luke and Jenny to come by and set up in the morning. Once we get his birthday stuff put in her room I grab a snack and a snack for Jamie and go back upstairs."what took you so long?" He asks "Mom came home so I had to put stuff away and then got the snacks." I said

My alarm goes off and I am really excited and nervous. I cut my alarm off and take my phone and text Jenny and Luke what to do with the things in the bag and where they need to go. Then I wake Jamie up, I love waking up to him beside me every morning. He goes and takes a quick shower because we're going to his parents to get some more of his things after school today. I go downstairs and mom has made us choclate chip waffles, with a hot cup of coffee. I havent had coffee in a while because I keep dragging to get out of bed. When Jamie gets out of the shower and gets dressed he comes down the stairs and goes straight to stuffing his face with the gooey choclate chip waffles. We get our bookbags and I grab the extra bag for him to put his stuff on after school and we walk to the car and I put them in the back. I get into the drivers seat and I get a text. I open the message on my phone and it's from mom

I roll my eyes but smile. "Whatcha smiling at?" He asks and my phone times out just as he goes to look. "My mom's being a creep." I said and kissed him cuz he's just so darn hot. "Do you know if Jen and Luke are gonna be back today?" He asks. "Honestly I dont know. Well assuming that her parents dont kill them both." I say trying not to let him see that I know that they are. We pull up to the school and my heart is like racing out of my chest. I mean, he's my boyfriend he's going to go to prom with me right? I'm staring into space and only snapped out when I feel his lips on mine. I can't help but smile into the kiss. "What were you thinking about?" He asks "You." I say and we both get out of the car. Usually we just hold hands walking into school but I decided to just put my arm around his shoulder and intertwine our hands that way with him leaning into my chest. How did I end up with such a cute boyfriend?!? His cuteness is gonna be the death of me one day. We walk into school and into and there is everybody in there places. Jenny and Luke each have a end of the banner and big huge grins on there faces.
The banner reads

Jamie's mouth widens as he reads it and he just smiles nodding "yes! Of course I will! Yes!!!!" He says and i can't take his cuteness. There are people from our classes and Jenny and Luke are all whistling and clapping. I kiss him for a good minute.. Jenny and Luke come hug us when we finally pull away. Jamie is blushing like crazy right now and I couldn't be happier that he said yes. Jamie then realized that Jenny and Luke are here. "Hey,they didn't kill yall." He says to them and laughs. "We explained and they were like your 18 deal with your consequences so" Jenny said shrugging."Wait" Jamie says then slaps my chest "You knew they were coming back!!" He said then laughed. "I couldn't tell you they were half the suprise babe!" I say in defense we both laugh. "Its okay, you know you love me anyways" I say and roll my eyes. "Let's get to class" he says and we get to class.
I don't pay attention to half the day because I just can't. By the time it was lunch I nearly jumped from my seat to the door. When we get to lunch we all eat. "Did you bring the pictures?" Jamie asks "Oh! Yeah, I took pictures on my phone of them so I don't lose the Original ones." She says while leaning on Luke's shoulder. "Awww. Did yall decide what to do?" I ask. "Yeah, we both decided that it would be best to keep it. You know cuz I already got a job. And my parents told me if we didn't that they would and so did Jen's parents so I figure it would be easier if we raised the baby then having a whole battle and everything." Luke says.
