After the party

Jamie's P.O.V-

When I woke up this morning and opened my eyes memories of last night went running around my head again. I look down and it wasn't a big amazing dream. It was real. Nik was curled up in a ball wrapped up in my arms. When I look over to see the time I see Luke and Jenny asleep. Huh? I didn't hear them come in last night. But then I turn my head back to the clock. Its 10 o'clock in the morning. Wow. I haven't slept that good or that long, ever I think. I hear my mom getting coffee and try to carefully wake up Nik and Jenny and Luke without scaring anyone. Jenny gets mad when you wake her up. Luke will roll over or fall asleep again within a few minutes. I have no clue what Nik will do. Or if he even knows he is at my house. Or if he is gonna hate me or what. So I ever so slightly tap his shoulder. He moves a bit. "Nik. Hey, it's time to get up." I say softly not trying to scare him. He opens his eyes and blinks. When he looks over and sees where he is and me and sees Luke and Jenny on the floor he just sits there kind of cautiously. "My moms making coffee and breakfast. If you'll stay." I say and find myself biting my lip and really wanting him to stay. He yawns and stretches and shakes his head okay. "Yeah, yeah, I'll stay." He says looking at me still kinda sleepy. He looks so cute when he's tired. But I really want to just hug him. His amazing smile and bright eyes makes me smile when he looks at me. Rather glances but same difference. So we all walk down the stairs to where my mom has set the table and put coffee at each seat. We all eat our food not talking much because FOOD. I look over to Nik who's ate like a pancake and has his coffee in his hand enjoying every bit of the coffee first. He looks over at me and blushes and then looks down at his coffee and then says "what? I can't enjoy my coffee?" I just shake my head and laugh. By the time we have all ate and stuffed it's almost 11. We go back to my room and Luke and Jenny say they have to go. We say bye and they both leave. Now it's me and Nik. We sit there for a minute after they leave. All in a sudden Nik says "So, I'm sorry for last night... I thought I could go one night without waking up crying. I-" I interrupt him "Hey. Hey. No. Don't apologize. Look at me. It's okay. I don't mind. It's a part of you. Don't hide it from me. Okay?" He just stares into my eyes with some sadness that turns into happiness. So we talk about everything there is to talk about. Life. People. Family. Our pasts. Everything. When his phone rings. He sits up and sees his mom is calling him. "Crap. I have to take this." He says and answers the phone standing up getting ready to walk away I don't know what possessed me but I reached out and grabbed his arm telling him to sit. He smiles and sat back down. "I know mom. I'm....oh. okay. We'll just do it next week it's fine. No. I'm sure. Yes I am still.. No mom. MOM. Stop." "What's wrong?" I say. "Yes it was. And NO you can not. No mother you...please. no. Whyyy. What makes you think he wants to talk to you. Mom." Hes kinda pleading for her to not. His bottom lip is out like a little kid. "Wait. Who? Does she want to talk to me?" I whisper while raising my eyebrow. Nik just looks at me with his bottom lip still pouting. I hold out my hand towards his phone. His eyes widen and reluctantly says "Fine. Mom. Don't embarrass me please. NO you will not tell him that. No. Mom. No." Then hands me the phone. "Hi! So your Nik's little 'friend' huh." His mom says. I laugh and say "Um. Yeah. I guess. I'm Jamie. Nice to meet you." "So did y'all have fun?" She says like she knows something happened. "Um. I did but you might wanna ask Nik." I say and Nik's eyes widen and pouts for me to stop talking and hang up the phone. "Um. We were getting ready to watch a movie so. I think I should give Nik the phone back. It was nice to meet you Mrs. Davidson." "Oh, sweetie you can call me Grace." "Okay. Well, I'm giving Nik his phone back. Grace." "Mom, hey we are getting ready to watch a movie. I'll talk to you later. Okay, mom...mom. bye mom." He says and hangs up the phone. I just laugh at his facial expression. "What? What did she ask you?!?" He says "She just asked if we were having fun! I told her yeah, well I thought we did.." I catch myself biting my lip again. We sit up and I put a movie in. "So. Can I ask you something" he turns to me and says. "Yeah, anything." "I just. I can't stop thinking about the kiss. Either of them." He says looking at his hands now. "Honestly, I haven't been able to either." He looks up at me and we both lean in and kiss. We just hold it at first. Then it turns into us making out the entire movie. Soo yeah, I'm extremely happy right now, sue me. The credits are scrolling on the TV and we are both sitting on the bed just staring and Nik is staring at his hands again and I'm just staring at him.
