Meeting Jack

Jamie's P.O.V-

Today I get to meet my dad's boyfriend! I'm super excited to finally meet this man that's making my dad happy for once. "Baby get up. Its 12 o'clock in the afternoon." I say. "Noooooo." He says grabbing me around the waist and holding me to the bed. "I guess you don't want to do any-thing... for a whole.. entire.. week." I say removing his hands from around my waist.

"Urghhhh. Fiiine.? I'm up." He says and whines a bit. "Good" I say and kiss him. "Yeah, yeah. Your lucky I love you." He mumbles. "I love you too." I say and roll my eyes. "I'm going to go get coffee at the coffeeshop. Get dressed." I say and kiss him before getting out of bed. I walk over to the closet, get my clothes, and put them on.

He gets up and put clothes on to. We drive to the coffeeshop. "Hey Bob." I say walking into the coffeeshop with Nik's hand in mine. "Hey Jamie. Nik. How've you boys been?" He says "We're good. Just passing the time." I say as we sit at the booth.

We order our coffee and talk to Bob for a while about what's been going on and about Nik getting the job as a Legal Receptionist.
"I looked over your resume. Janice just quit because she's moving to New Jersey with her boyfriend. If you still want a job you can have it. I think you've watched us make drinks enough times over the past what four years to know enough." Bob says. "That would be great Bob! Thank you so much!" I say. "You can start tomorrow if you'd like. You can cover Janice's shifts." Bob says. "Today just keeps getting better!" I say when Bob walks off to go great a customer.

"Are you excited to meet Jack later?" He asks. "It's only 2 o'clock. Do you wanna go walk around or go to the park or movies or to the pool?" Nik asks. "Let's go for a walk around town and then go to the pool." I said. We left the coffeeshop after telling Bob bye and started walking around looking at all the little shops around."Let's go look in the bookstore!" I said. "Anything you want babe." He says.

"I love you." I said with a smile as I drag him into the bookstore. "I love you more." He said. We walked around looking at all of the books, hand in hand the whole time. We were turning the corner when a little boy about 5 looking at some books on the shelf we were walking to.

The little boy looked at us and said "Why are you holding hands?" I looked at Nik as he said "Because I love him and he's my fiánce." The little boys mother comes around the corner and makes a disgusted face at us. "Jeremiah, get away from these people. They are diseased sinners who are going straight to hell." The woman exclaimed.

"But mom. The nice man said he loved the other man. What if I like a boy. You always said you want me to be happy. Will i go to hell if i like a boy?" He asks confused. The woman scoffs and slaps the boy. "You do not talk like that! You will not like a boy. That's disgusting, no son of mine will be a sinner." She says and drags him away. "Let's go home." Nik says and he drags me out of the store all the way to the car.

When we got home we just stayed in each others arms until Nik looked me in the eyes and asked if I was okay. "I'm okay baby, I just hate that some people just dont understand. That poor boy was just curious. He didn't deserve to be treated like that he looked like he was like 5 years old!" I said kinda furious and upset. "I know babe. I hate that little boy has to deal with homophobic parents and all he did was ask a question." He said.

He leaned down and kissed me. "I love you so much babe." Nik says. "I love you more baby." I said. "Let's go to the pool since it's only 4:30." He said. "Okay." I said and we get up and put our swim trunks on. We swam around and just talk for an hour. We dry off and go up to his/our room. "I'm gonna take a shower." I say walking to the bathroom starting the shower and getting in. 20 minutes later I walk out of the bathroom with a towel around my waist.

I grab some decent clothes and put them on. Nik showered and grabbed some decent clothes to put on to. By the time we are both dressed it's 6:20. "I'm so excited I get to meet Jack finally. Dad's talked about him forever. He seems to really really like him. I know dad's probably a mess wondering how this is gonna go." I say. "I bet. He really does seem like he does like him alot. I'm sure that you and Jack will get along." Nik said.
