Nik's P.O.V-
I was excited. When Jamie went to the bathroom I decided to go pick up something from the jewelry store that I had ordered the day before. I showed it to my mom and told her my plan.

(Which was why she said the mall) Then she got set on showing me pictures of her and dad when they got engaged and when he proposed and when they got married when Jamie came out she put her phone away. I think he's getting suspicious but I'm hoping I can trust mom, Luke, and Jenny to keep this a secret till I actually get to ask him and/or Dan too. I think about all of this as I drift asleep.

*beep beep beep beep*
I wake up to my alarm going off. I go to turn it off but it stops. I open my eyes and Jamie is rolling out of bed to get a shower before we get ready for school today. We only have one exam today. We have our Chemistry exam today. Yay chemistry. Urgh I dread everything about chemistry. I set out a comfortable pair of jeans and a tee shirt. While setting out a pair for Jamie too.

I go downstairs and find a freshly made stack of pancakes. "Ooh mom did you do what I told you to do with the box from yesterday?" I ask still wary of if he was listening. "Oh, yeah I did honey. I'm so happy for you!" She says excitedly. "Where is he?" Mom asked. "Shower" I say and take a big bite of a pancake.

"Hmm." Is all I get and I look at her wierd. And she just waves her hand making a motion for me to forget about it. When Jamie comes downstairs I go take a really quick shower and by the time I get dried off, dressed, and ready I still have time to drink my coffee and while grabbing my wallet and keys.

"Bye mom. We'll be back soon." I say as we leave. We get in the car and head to school.

*/Time Lapse/*

All of us are now done with our exams for the day and we meet up by my car to talk and figure out where to go for lunch. We decide to just go to a fast food restaurant. When Jamie goes to the bathroom I pull my phone out and show them the pictures of the ring I got.

"Honestly I think he will love it Nik." Jenny says and hugs me. "When?!? I can't keep things from him that well." Luke admits. "Just don't talk about it or mention it " I plead. We all go back to eating and Jamie gets back everyone is done.

"Ready to go?" I ask him and he just yawns. "I think it's time for a nap." Jenny says and we all agree. We clean up our mess and I grab the bag that has mom's food in it.

I wrap my arm around Jamie's waist and he leans on my shoulder. We get outside and say our goodbyes. When we get home I lay mom's food down on the counter and head to bed to take a nap from the exhaustion that is chemistry.

We take about an hour nap then went on with the rest of the day just lounging around watching tv, talking, playing on our phones. I may or may not have gotten Dan's phone number from him at Jamie's birthday party. I slip out of the living room into the kitchen and call him.

"Hey Nik. How are ya?" Dan greets "I'm good Dan. I'm good." I say and take a deep breath "Nothing happened to Jamie right?" Dan says with a tinge of sadness and worry in his voice."No. No. Jamie is fine. Umm. I was actually wondering if I could ask you something." I say with my breath kinda shaky. "Oh. Haha. Sure. Ask away." He said.

"So, I know that we haven't been dating for too long but I honestly don't know how we could be any closer. I really love Jamie and there is nothing I want more than for him to be with me forever. I don't know how else to put it. I love him and there's nobody else for me." I say kinda shaking. "Ooh. Nik. Are you asking for my permission to ask my son to marry him?" Dan says and laughs.

"Um. Yeah. I know he values your opinion a lot and you seen how broke he was with what happened when she didn't like his decision." I say. "Of course! I would love nothing more than for you to be my son in law. Assuming he says yes of course. Haha." He said laughing.

"Thank you so much! I was gonna ask him at the graduation party at the park if you'd like to come. Jenny and Luke and there parents are gonna be there too." I say. "I would love to come! You are such a nice young man. I'm proud of you and I'm positive he will say yes. Just hang in there Nik." He says and ends the call.

I walk back into the living room and sit back down. "What took you so long?" Jamie asked. "Why, you miss me?" I say with a smirk and kiss him cuz why not. He is so freaking adorable! "I love you" I say "I love you too babe." He says and kisses me again.

*THE NEXT FEW DAYS WENT ALONG THE LINES OF....

-GO TO SCHOOL

-HANG OUT/EAT/DO ANYTHING*

It's Friday and today we don't have to go to school because we are done with exams. We stay in bed and read and draw and sit on our phones and watch TV. I can not believe this week has gone by so fast.

I can't believe I am really going to ask the freaking love of my life to marry me.. I'm kinda freaking out..
'what if he says no?'
'what if he moves away for college'
'What if I'm moving to fast'
'What if he hates me for this'
'What if he doesnt wanna marry me?'
'What if he cheats on me?'
'What if...' "NIK!" "NIK!!" I hear someone yelling my name. I suddenly snap out of my horrible trance and see Jamie with tears in his eyes and his pupils dialated so big you could barely see the blue in his eyes.

That's when I realize I'm crying. And I'm shaking a bit. "Babe are you okay?!" I ask as he looks like his heart had just been shattered. "Am I?!? Are you!?!" He says back. "I'm fine. I just was having a daydream and it was bad. I'm so sorry for scaring you baby." I say while comforting him and he just laughs a little.

"What was your daydream about?" He asks and before I realized it I said "losing you." And the room went quiet. "Babe, look at me. You are NOT going to lose me. I am not going anywhere. I will always be here for you. I love you so freaking much. You would have to have me RIPPED from your cold dead body to leave you." He says and wipes my tears from my cheeks and kisses me where the tears were and then once so lightly and gently but so full of passion and love.

"What in the world did I do to deserve you? Like honestly. You are the most amazing. Kindess. Sweetest. Most loving. And the most handsome person I've ever met. Yet you chose to be with me. You have everyone staring at you no matter where you go. Yet you chose me. How am I so lucky to even be with you." I say and he just smiles and kisses me.

Until I smile into the kiss. "I think we should go get some dinner, get a shower, and then head to bed. Sound good to you?" He asks as he goes for the door. "Okay." I say and take his hand as we walk downstairs to make some spaghetti for dinner. When we are done eating he puts the leftovers up and we get in the shower then go to bed.
