First Days

Nik's P.O.V-

I opened my eyes to my alarm clock going off. I reach over and turn it off. I turn my head and smiled at the most adorably sexy man ever to exist, who just so happens to be my fiance, and still naked from last night with the covers thrown to the bottom of the bed. God, I love him so freaking much. I lean over and kiss him on the lips.

"Babe, it's time to get up." I said as he slowly wakes up. Opening his beautiful blue eyes in the morning is something I love watching. "Good morning handsome" I said and smiled at him. "Good morning baby" he said kissing me softly on the lips.

We get out of bed and take showers. We put on our work clothes. "Are you ready for your first day of work baby?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist with his head on my shoulder. "Yeah, are you?" I ask him "Yup!" He said I turn in his arms and kiss him. "Awww. Y'all are just too adorable. Well don't you boys look all nice for your first day" Mom says.

I break the kiss at the sound of her voice. "Mooom" I said "Sorry. I know you were having a moment. I just came to tell you I made you boys breakfast and packed you lunches. I'm going back downstairs." Mom says I just look at Jamie and smile. We walk downstairs and eat the breakfast she prepared for us. "Thank you mom for breakfast and the lunch." I said "Thank you" Jamie says and hugs mom.

"I better go before I'm late on the first day." I say grabbing my lunch and hugging mom. "I've got to go to I'll walk out with you" Jamie says and waves bye to mom. We get to my car and he kisses me. "Bye baby. I love you." He says "Bye. Love you more." I say and we get in our respectable cars.

I drove to the law firm and parked. I got out of my car and locked it. I walked inside and was told I was needed in Mr. Zuckerman's office. I get up to his office and knock. "Come in." Mr. Zuckerman says as I walk into his office as he takes a file and hands it to me.

"Mr. Davidson can you please go over this file and check for any more information that may be missing or overlooked. Since it's your first day you can look them over with Mariella for today." He says as a woman walks in. "Mariella this is Nik Davidson, the new Legal Assistant. He'll be looking over the Wilson vs Marks case. I'd like you to help him look over it until he gets use to the way we do things. Meanwhile I have to go meet with a client." Mr. Zuckerman says to Mariella

"Hi. I'm Mariella. Sorry about him. He talks fast when he's stressed out or in a hurry. I'll help you go over the Wilson vs Marks case today. Let me show you where you'll go over the information at." She says and walks me over to an area with a few others with files and computers. We sit down and after 2 hours we have went over every single detail of the case, adding some new information, and making sure all of the information was correct, and neatly placed in the files.

"So. We have some time to kill before Mr. Zuckerman gets back. Tell me about you." Mariella says "What do you wanna know?" I ask her "Anything. How old are you?" She asks "I'm 18. Just graduated high school a few months ago. I'm enrolled in a local college this fall." I said "Your young and going to college while you have a job. Any reason particularly?" She asks

"Well, to pay for college fees, the wedding, the wedding planning, looking for a place to stay after we get married, cars, insurance, bills, gas, and saving money to put aside to adopt kids down the line." I say honestly. "Wow. And your only 18? Who's the lucky person?" Mariella asks "Yeah, his names Jamie." I say and smile "When is the big day?" She asks "May 17th" I say and smile thinking about it.

"Aww. I may have just met you but I can tell you really love him. But why wait so long to marry him?" Mariella says "Oh, well our friends are having a baby. My fiance Jamie has been has been best friends with the girl a since they were 5 and we wanted the baby to be in the wedding, especially since we are gonna be the baby's godfathers, and she's still in the first trimester so. Plus there is the issue of money and we're both going to college this fall." I said
