"morning Bash!" Gilbert said, walking into the kitchen and sitting down next to Bash.

"morning Blythe, you're up early" Bash said, eating his breakfast.

"yea I'm supposed to meet Y/n before school" Gilbert said, grabbing an apple and taking a bite.

"ah your girlfriend" Bash said smirking.

Gilbert groaned. "she's not my girlfriend, Bash. and I'm not in love with her" he said irritated.

"if you say so" Bash said chuckling.

Gilbert finished his apple and stood up from the table. "I'm going, I'll see you," he said grabbing some lunch and his books.

"have fun with your girlfriend!" Bash yelled as Gilbert opened the front door.

"not my girlfriend!" he yelled back before closing the door and making his way to school.

pfff I'm not in love with her.

he saw you waiting for him and he smiled walking up to you. "morning, love" he said grinning.

"oh would you stop calling me that" you chuckled and took his arm. "did you have a good night sleep?" you asked looking up at Gilbert.

"yea I did actually... you appeared in my dream" he answered, chuckling softly.

"what happened?" you asked, feeling you're cheeks heat up a little.

"I don't really remember, I only know you were there" Gilbert said trying to remember anything else from his dream. he only remembered you.

"I bet I looked great" you say laughing. Gilbert chuckles.

yea you did.

"whatever you wanna tell yourself" he said causing you to nudge him in the shoulder.

"hey! aren't you supposed to be supportive of me. as my friend!" you yelled.

Gilbert laughed. "I'm sorry Y/n. you looked amazing in the dream I don't remember" Gilbert said.

"thank you" you said flipping your hair. you both bursted out in laughter.

"oh we're here already" you said as the schoolhouse came in sight.

"oh" Gilbert said confused.

time goes by fast when I'm with her.

you both walked into the classroom and sat down in your seats before sending eachother one last smile.

class started and Gilbert stared at you. he always did. it was soothing for him and it distracted him from the boring lessons. he only stared at you for those reasons. he wasn't in love with you or anything. *cough cough*

"Mr Blythe! an answer please!" Mr Phillips yelled.

Gilbert's head shot up his brain still fuzzy from staring at you. "I'm sorry sir, what was the question again?" he asked blinking fast to get out of his trance.

"how do you spell callous?" Mr Phillips asked annoyed.

"c-a-l-l-o-u-s" Gilbert spelled out.
