You're walking through the forest at night with tears in your eyes. you got in a massive fight with your parents and they kicked you out on the street. so now you were wandering around the forest with a heavy suitcase. you didn't know what to do. you couldn't show up at someone's house in the middle of the night asking for a place to sleep and even if you could your friends lived too far away and you weren't gonna sleep in a stranger's house.

you walked over to a big tree and looked at it's branches. they were big and you would probably be able to sleep on them. you left your suitcase on the floor as you climbed the tree. you didn't go very high in fear of falling. you got on the lowest possible branch you could find and rubbed your arms trying to keep yourself warm. you were tired so it didn't last long before you fell asleep.

You woke up feeling warm and comfortable. you opened your eyes seeing you weren't outside anymore. you were in a strange house in a strange bed. you gasped for air and immediately panicked jumping out of bed looking around to see if you recognized anything. your suitcase was on a chair in the corner next to a mirror.

you looked into the mirror to see your messy hair and crinkled dress. you looked like a mess. "hey you're awake" you heard a voice behind you. you turned around. "Gilbert? what am I doing here?" you asked frowning obviously very confused. "I saw you when I was taking a walk yesterda-" you cut him off, slightly squinting your eyes. "a walk? at night?" you frowned deeper and Gilbert scratched his neck. "couldn't sleep... anyway I uhh saw you sleeping in a tree so I brought you here" he said with a small smile. "thank you" you said returning the smile. "may I ask why you were sleeping in a tree?" he furrows his eyebrows obviously confused and curious. you sighed and sat down on the bed. "m-my parents kicked me out. we had this fight about education and marriage... " you said looking down at the floor. "y-you're more than welcome to stay here" he said as he sat down next to you. "are you sure?" you asked as you looked up at him. "yea.. if you could help around a little. do you like cooking?" he asked with a small frown and a chuckle. "yea.. but I'm not very good at it" you said letting out a small chuckle as well. "I'm sure you're better than me. Bash is always complaining about my cooking" he said chuckling. "Bash?" you asked a little confused. "oh Bash is my friend I met him when I was traveling he lives here as well." he said with a smile. "can I meet him?" you ask standing up. "yea I believe he's in the kitchen right now" Gilbert said with a smile.

Gilbert stood up and walked towards the kitchen with you following behind. "morning Bash" Gilbert said. "there's someone I'd like you to meet, this is Y/n she's gonna be living here. hope that's alright with you" Gilbert said with a chuckle. Bash stood up from his seat. "nice to meet you Y/n I'm Sebastian. you can call me Bash" he send you a smile and you returned it. "nice to meet you too Bash" you said letting go of his hand. "I'll make breakfast" Gilbert said walking over to the cabinets. "I don't think that's a good idea Blythe, I'll do it" Bash said standing in front of Gilbert. Gilbert chuckled and shook his head sitting down. you chuckled aswell sitting across from Gilbert as you chatted with him.

In school you never really talked to him. you never even thought about talking to him because Ruby had dibs. you wondered what would happen if your friends found out you were living with him. maybe this was a bad idea but right now you didn't have any other choice.

when Sebastian was done making breakfast you quickly finished it and excused yourself from the kitchen to change leaving Gilbert and Sebastian alone.

"so a girl is living with us now?" Sebastian asked with a small chuckle. "she got kicked out... she has no place to go" Gilbert said as he slightly clenched his jaw. "why haven't you told me about this girl before? you seem to like her a lot" Sebastian said with a small smirk. "we never really talked that much." Gilbert said with a small frown. "why not?" Sebastian asked frowning as well. "I don't know... she makes me nervous... I always act stupid around her and I never had the chance to start a conversation?" Gilbert said looking up. "well now you do" Bash said smiling. Gilbert let out a chuckle as he finished his apple and stood up to grab his books.
