Twenty eight

We arrived at the inn around mid day, I was with fairy tail team B as their reserve member, we all placed our bags in each room by our beds of our hotel room then decided to all go adventure around for a bit. Although I love looking around I can't wait to go to sleep.

-flash back-

While I was running around the island training after everyone had disappeared I heard some strange noise in the forest. Turns out it was fairy Tail cheering about Jellal and his guild saying they were going to allow them to use their second origin. Of course the second Natsu saw me walking toward the group I got dragged into the mess.
We all spent the entire night writhing around in pain and agony. I haven't slept properly since.

-current time-

Crocus is beautiful!
The streets are filled, bustling with life. I smile down at the floor, the flowers lining the streets are so cute. I love the colour scheme of this place!

Even the sun set here is beautiful, the sky is painted in a gorgeous pink, shades of purple lightly mixed in as the stars started to become visible.
It's strange I still haven't run into anyone else from fairy tail, I wonder what they're all doing?

I decided after I made my way back to the inn I would sit down for a little while and then eat some dinner.
There was the most adorable ramen stand a few minutes away from our inn so I went out with Mira to go get some! I haven't had a good heart to heart with Mira for ages!!

"Are you excited for the games y/n?" She asks while smiling happily at me.
"I can't wait to see what fairy tail can do! I doubt that I'll be in any of the games though as I'm only the reserve player" I say smiling back at her.
"I think you'll be out on the field showing everyone just what fairy tail has to offer! I just hope it's not because someone got seriously hurt" Mira says and looks at her ramen.
"I know you're going to go out there and kick some butt Mira!" I encourage her. She giggles at me and tastes her food.
"You're far too sweet y/n" she compliments.
"Says you!" I retort smiling brightly at her.
"What should I wear?" Mira asks.
I smile brightly at her.
"Well I think our theme is black and team A's is purple. Do you still have that black dress from years ago?" I ask. She sits in the chair thinking hard before smiling.
"OH YES I DO!" Mira calls.
"I think it's somewhere in my bag as well! You're a genius y/n" she says smiling at me.
I untie the black ribbon holding my hair up and gently wrap it around her neck like a choker.
"I think that will look cute too" I say smiling down at her.
She looks down and smiles knowing she can't see it until she gets into a mirror.
"Thank you so much!" She appreciatively says.
"What are you going to wear?" Mira then asks curiously.
"I have no clue" I smile sheepishly.
"I have the perfect outfit" she says with a glint in her eyes.
'Oh boy' I think to myself.

"This place is lovely" I sigh breaking the silence after we finished eating our meals.
"Isnt it?" She asks.
"Come in we have no time to dawdle!! I have to get you ready for tomorrow!" Mira says and grabs my hand, running us back to the inn.

Once we make it back she walks us to her bag. She digs through it pulling out the dress I suggested.
"Ah I do have it! Thank goodness" she sighs and hangs it up on a hanger.
"I think you'll look amazing" I complement her. She blushes lightly.
"Thank you y/n but I'm about to make you look 50 times better" she says and starts pulling random black clothes from her bag.
"Where did you get all this stuff from!? And why did you bring all of it!!" I ask baffled.
"No time for questions. Just try this on!" She exclaims.
She hands me a tight black skirt with a big slit up the side, which I put on quickly.
"This is really comfy" I say smiling.
"It's adorable!" She squeaks in her element.
I smile at her happiness.
"Now for a top, hmmm" she queries. Pulling out a strappy halter neck top, throwing it to me.
I pull it over myself and do a little spin in the mirror content with the look.
"This is surprisingly cute" I say smiling.
"You. Look. Amazing!" Mira fangirls.
"You really know your stuff Mira thank you!" I say and hug her.

"Holy crap it's already 10!? I better shower and get ready for bed" I say realising what the time is.

I climb into the shower turning the warm water on, letting the heat take over me.
I scrub and exfoliate my legs, then shave my entire body making sure I look my best for tomorrow.
I wash my hair in my vanilla and cinnamon scented shampoo, then leave in a lavender and vanilla hair mask while I finish up shaving. After I'm done I hope out, brush my teeth and hair and wrap myself up in a towel. I look at the clock on the wall, nearly 11pm.

I sigh content and open the bathroom door, seeing all the other people in team b sitting in the loungroom, but where is cana?

"Hey guys, it's getting late, where's cana?" I ask curiously pointing at the clock showing its 10:59.
"No clue, but she better hurry we don't have long left." Gajeel groans, looking away from you while hiding his blush.
Suddenly there is a loud bell toll echoing through the street.
"Wait you guys that bell just rang 12 times?" Mira says
"HOLY CRAP OUR CLOCKS EARLY!" I say shouting.
"Where the hell is cana!?" Laxus groans.

"Attention guild members who've gathered for the grand magic games! G'morning!!" The thundering voice calls from outside.
"The preliminary round to narrow the 113 guilds down to 8 will now begin!" Shouts the voice.
"THE WHAT!?" Gajeel shouts.
"Oh crap!" I say.
"The preliminary rules are simple!" Shouts the voice as the ground starts to tremble and shake violently.
"What on earth is happening!?" Mira shouts in fear. I quickly grab onto the railing in an attempt to stabilise myself.
"The inn's are all rising up!" I state in shock.
"You will now participate in a race! The domus flau is the goal! The first 8 teams to reach it will qualify for the games, you're free to use magic, there are no limitations. Only the first 8 teams to reach the goal will clear the preliminary round! However, all five team members must cross the goal for it to count! Also we are not responsible for any lives lost that happen in the labyrinth! Let the grand magic games preliminary round begin!!" Shouts the voice.
"Well Juvia guesses you're cana for now y/n!" juvia says.
"In a freaking towel. Great!" I sigh to myself.
"Not time to waste you guys let's get going!!" I shout excitedly and we all begin to race up the path.
