Thirty one

-Day two-

"The first event of the second day of the Grand magic games shall be called chariot!" The commentator shouts.
Natsu and gajeel both decide they want to show off and participate this time.

"Good luck you two!" I encourage knowing that even though he is on a vehicle that he will make us all proud.

I sat beside Lisanna watching the event, our hands clasped tightly together as we watch on.
"Hopefully today will be better than yesterday." I say softly to her.
"No kidding, but I'm sure we will get some points today" she agrees with me.

"So do all dragon slayers have motion sickness?" Lisanna asks me curiously while we watch the trip of dragonslayers laying pretty much motionless, turning green. I just nod in response.

"Gotta keep moving!!" Natsu groans in agony while forcing himself to move, gajeel hot on his heels.
"So uncool..." sting sweat drops.
"Acting so serious with no strength at all" he snickers, the two fairytail members dragging themselves along.
"Sure I'll let you have this win, we are going to keep on winning after this anyway. We don't need a lousy extra point"
"Don't you dare sneer at one point boy" Gajeel spits angrily.
"Could you tell me one thing though?" Sting asks confusedly.
"Why did you guys even bother entering the contest? You're almost nothing like the old fairy tail now. You're so focused on how tough you are and what the world thinks of you the fairy tail I knew did whatever the hell it wanted, you know? It never cared what anyone else thought!" Calls sting.
"We're doing it for our friends!" Natsu groans out.
"Our friends who waited for us for 7 years straight! No matter how miserable or painful it got they endured all the humiliation and stayed strong and they kept out guild together. We are doing this for our friends, we're going to show everyone! We're going to prove that fairy tail has kept going!! So we have to keep pushing forward!!" Natsu screams, gives another heartwarming speech, as the two fairy tail boys push themselves to the finish line, screaming in determination and collapsing on the floor, Gajeel following behind natsu, Natsu looks up to see the entire guild standing in the podium, finger pointed to the sky while all the members are crying our eyes out.

"That's my boy" master sobs. Some people in the crowd also start to cheer on Natsu and fairy tail saying how we aren't as bad as they thought.
Once the race is over lucy, levy and I race to the pair, levy helping gajeel while Lucy and I engulf Natsu in a giant hug.
"Our first points" Natsu states before passing out fully.

Lucy, levy and I help carry him as well as gajeel to porlyusica, once they are safely in the infirmary we both go back to watching the fights.

"Who's up now?" I ask Lisanna sitting down next to her.
"Elfman vs Bacchus" she replies, worry clearly spread across her face for her brother.

"I'll go show them what a real man can do!" Elfman shouts, beginning the fight.

The match carried on for a while elfman getting rather badly beaten, and not really getting anywhere. Elfman struggles to stand but once he finally makes it to his feet he looks beyond furious.

"You will keep your promise right?"  Bacchus taunts. Lisanna shivers beside me uncomfortably.
"So you are standing up, I guess all the repetition of the word 'manly' wasn't for nothing" bacchus sneers.
"Come to think of it I didn't decide yet hound dog. The bet... what happens if I win?" Elfman retorts.
"Well, there's no chance of that, so go ahead. Whatever you want" he jeers.
"If I win, the name of your guild is Quatro puppy for the rest of the games" Elfman laughs.
"Okay okay, that does it. Bottoms up!" bacchus sighs and takes a large swig of alcohol.

"He's getting serious now..." I say, protectively grabbing lisanna's hand.
She tightens her grip nervously.
"What does that mean...?" She asks anxiously.
"We won't let him take you don't worry" i smile gently at her, afraid of what was going to happen.
