5. The Penthouse

Daniel's P.O.V
Shes one wild person. Didn't fall for me like all the other girls. There's something different about her...(😉) I mean, she fricken called me babyboy. Talk about different.

I walked to my office, and took a seat on my chair. I looked through the glass to see her arranging a couple of files. Yes, I feel guilty that i pulled her off modeling but I HAVE to spend the rest of my life with her. I need to know how she is. Oh well!

Something struck me, and I called her over to my office. I watched her as she frowned then rolled her eyes then walked out of her office. "Yes, babyboy?" She asked me smirking as she walked into my office. "Come here" I told her and she walke dover to my side of the desk and pushed a couple of files to the side and sat on the desk.

"I said come here you know. Not sit on my desk" I told her, raising my eyebrows. "Yeah, well I don't care either way babyboy" she grinned.

Switch back to 3rd P.O.V

"Is that what your gonna call me from now on? Baby boy??" Daniel asked Carly and she detected a slight trace of amusment in his voice. "I'll call you whatever I want. Now what what did you call me here for?" Carly asked him.

"I was thinking, Isin't Zach Herron your friend?" Daniel asked the blond girl in front of him. "Yupp. The kid is my friend. Why?" Asked a curious Carly. "Like Jack Avery said, Herron.INC is losing money and its killing our profits also. We NEED to figure it out. But I don't want a formal meeting. I usually don't do this but can we meet up with him somewhere??" Daniel asked.

"Suree! I'll ask him" she smiled and Daniel pulled his chair closer and rested his hands on her thighs. "And what exactly are you doing babyboy?" Carly asked him, raising an eyebrow and he just looked up at her. Suddenly, the door opened harshly and a guy stood there at the door.

"Ashton! How many times have I told you that you can't barge in here" groaned Daniel but the 'Ashton' dude was staring at Carly who was still seated on Daniel's desk.

"Who are you?" Ashton asked her and she hopped off the table and walked over to him. "Carly Difflin. Daniel's girlfriend and now P.A" she smiled, extending her hand to the panting guy, who shook it while saying "Charlie Ashton." He smiled at her and Daniel intervened.

"Ashton! Your assignment is late again!" He scolded and Charlie just hung his head. "I got it now though" he said as he handed a file to Daniel who rolled his eyes and accepted it. "Well! I need to go back. It was nice meeting you Carly" Charlie said as he ran out the door again.

"Is he always like that?" Carly said as she walked and sat on the chair Daniel had been previously sitting in. "Yes and you can't sit there. Move" he said looking at Carly, who just stuck her tongue out him and said "Make me move". Daniel rolled his eyes and effortlessly picked her up, sat down then placed her on his lap.

"Bold move, Seavey" Carly said as she snuggled up into his hard chest, making herself comfy as grabbed the file in his hands. Opening it, she began to read through it, scanning word after word. "Grab me a pencil" spoke Carly and Daniel gave her one. Carly began to cross out things and make pointers here and there, while Daniel watched her, impressed.

"Done! Now can we go eat?" Carly asked him and she placed the file on his table and turned around to face Daniel. "Ya ok fine. We can go but you need to get off me first" Daniel said and Carly grinned. "You placed me on your lap in the first place. But do you not like me sitting here?" Carly asked, innocently batting her eyelashes.

And for the second time that day, the door burst open and the person froze again at the sight. Daniel sighed and wrapped his arms around Carly's waist. "Hi Crystal. What do you want?" He asked the red headed girl standing at the door who had her jaw dropped.
