56.Want

Recap: "Divorce papers"

"W-What" Carly said, her eyes widening as tears fell. "P-Please don't cry, don't make this harder than it already is" Daniel croaked out, tears dripping from his own.

"W-What did I do wrong? Do you n-not want me anymore? Am I too disgusting for you–" Carly spoke, but Daniel couldn't stop himself, as he pressed his lips against hers, a small act however not in vain as his blond wife stopped talking.

Wife, Daniel knew it was a simple four letter syllable, and he knew until it was legally declared, she was still his. For another few days he supposed, owning a law firm meant court processes were extremely faster.

 As their lips moved gently against each other, Carly's a bit chapped and dry but it was the least of their worries. Carly pulled him closer, Daniel's arms wrapping themselves around her.

"We shouldn't" Daniel whispered as Carly tried to deepen it, pulling away and resting his forehead on hers. "W-Why? Am I n-not what you want anymore" Carly croaked, her eyes pooling tears. 

"Oh god, of course not, your everything that I want and need love" Daniel whispered, his thumbs stroking away any tears that managed to escape.

"T-Then why, I l-love you" she broke down, Daniel's eyes finally dipping his own tears as he pulled her into an embrace. "I really can't Carly, its illegal now" Daniel whispered and she looked up confused.

Sighing, the fake blond proceeded to explain everything that happened, the whole contract and the rules. Carly had tears falling, lightly shaking. Daniel meanwhile, avoided her gaze, knowing he was gonna do something if he looked at her.

"L-Look at me" Carly breathed, and Daniel hesitantly raised his head. She cupped his face, him leaning into it as she shuffled closer, wincing as the IV needle dug into her hand. Daniel's eyes widened, moving closer to her as he helped her to the middle of the bed.

She slowly moved so she was straddling him, his back against the bed, her biting her lip to not wince as a tick of pain erupted as the IV needle moved in her skin. "Don't bite your lips" Daniel whispered, making her blush lightly as she stopped doing so, Daniel's hands lacing themselves with hers.

"I wanna stay with you" Carly breathed and Daniel shook his head. "I'm not the one for you princess-" Daniel began but Carly cut him off.

 "Then why does it feel right. Why does it feel proper, perfect, like I don't wanna be anywhere but with you. Why do I have the sense of security, why do I wanna do everything with you. Why do I want you to be the father of my kids, Why do I want you Daniel" Carly said, breaking down.

Daniel's eyes were wide, tears falling as he held his crying wife. She cried softy as he hugged her tightly, her hands holding him close as if he were to run away any second. And Daniel did want to run, not alone though. He wanted to run away, with Carly, anywhere but here.

A new beginning, no law firm, no work to worry about. But he knew he couldn't. The system of law would fall apart if one of the main companies tumbled, it was always the Seaveys running his company, and it had to be a Seavey that continued running it.

"Carly" Daniel whispered and she looked up, Daniel's thumbs wiping the tears. Carly's eyes caught onto the signed papers, Daniel's eyes following her gaze to see them on the printed paper.

"I'm sorry about all of this love, I don't have a choice" Daniel whispered, and Carly looked back at him. She slowly leaned in, connecting their lips and Daniel kissed her back briefly, however soon pulling away.

"Carly, please don't make all of this harder" Daniel whispered, and Carly looked down, her eyes on Daniel's lower shirt, trailing lower to his jeans before resting upon her hospital gown that covered his jean clad thighs as she straddled him.

"If we divorce, you'll still have my property right?" Carly asked softly, and Daniel nodded, an ashamed look on his face. "Were you in it for the property at the first" Carly asked him and Daniel shook his head.

"Never, it was simply to impress my family, but then you became family, and I fell in love" Daniel replied making Carly's eyes fill with tears for the umpteenth time since she had woken up.

"Please don't give those papers in, please Daniel" she begged him as he pulled her closer, letting her rest her head on his chest as she sobbed. "You know I have to" Daniel whispered.

"Besides you'll be happier with someone else. Someone who won't let you get kidnapped" Daniel muttered, and Carly pulled away, cupping his face. "Is that why you want to divorce me? Because I got kidnapped?" She asked him and he shrugged, burying his head in her neck.

"Daniel I went down that day" Carly began but Daniel looked up at her. "And yet I never chased after you. Do you know how hard it was, to watch Jake traumatize you like that? To use you like a tester with drugs after drugs, to watch you being electrocuted by a fucking chair" Daniel said.

"And I went through all of that, and yet Im telling you, I wanna be with you. I don't care, I'm in love with you" Carly said and Daniel kissed her softly.

"You don't understand how much it pains to hold myself back, because you've told me a million times you love me, and I haven't told you even once. And when I have the chance to, it would be wrong if I told you, when its practically leading you on" Daniel whispered, closing his eyes as tears fell faster.

"I don't care if you love me back or not—" Carly began but Daniel cut her off. "Don't say that, I do, I swear" Daniel said and Carly looked at him with pain in her eyes.

"Daniel..." She began, gazing at him while fresh tears pooled in her eyes. "Oh fuck it" Daniel growled, wrapping one arm around her waist properly, his grip pulling her closer as he looked her into the eye, his forehead against hers.

"I love you"

Argh, this chapter was the epitome of boring, Im sorry lmao 

But the title tho, DIRTY MINDED GANG WHERE U AT—

I'm kinda sad that this books gonna end, but Im kinda hyped cause I have another book coming out after this, so better be on watch for that ehe.

 It'll defo be out before I end this book, maybe another 2 or 3 chapters later, so ya'll gonna knoww ehe

I actually messed my makeup up today while I was writing and almost killed Carly, so tas a fun fact for ya'll—
