To @obsessedlimelight101 , the girl whos been with me since the start of this account. The one whos on my ass 24/7  encouraging me to update, ya'll should show her works some love. Thanks for being there always, for chasing me with a slipper when I broke up my characters in the other book. I love you so much♥️

And thus is Lily and Jonahs story :) [I typed Jonah but autocorrect made it Hoenah HOLY-]

"Who made the world so fucking colourful" Lily groaned. The brunette was currently in a jewelry shop, trying to pick a bracelet to wear for her interview the next day. She desperatly needed a job, and she had gotten a golden opportunity at a big law firm.

She had her outfit ready, and the bracelet was missing. "I'd say the dark grey if your trying to impress someone" a deep voice sounded and Lily jumped. "You literally scared me, holy-" she began, cutting herself off when he eyes landed on a tall, hot guy, his lips formed into a sheepish smile.

"Sorry I just noticed you were struggling. Its not new, I am too. Need to get a necklace for my mom" the guy said and Lily laughed. "I can help, its only fair since you helped me. Im Lily by the way" she smiled and the guy introduced himself as Jonah.

The duo spent another 10 minutes looking through necklaces, before heading to settle the bill. Jonah was first and as he paid for his jewelry, he paid for Lily's bracelet as well, much to her protest.

"You literally can't do that" she protested. "You can make it up to me with a date" Jonah winked and Lily blushed but nodded. They exchanged numbers, and Lily fell asleep with a wide smile on her face that night

(The next day)

"Ms.Aldrin you may go in" the guy at the reception said and Lily got up, nerves jittery as she walked towards the conference room where the interview was taking place. She had noticed many before her walk out sad and one even cursing the C.E.O 

"Oh lord please help me. I just got a date" She muttered, before pushing the door open. "Ms.Aldrin? Please take a seat, our C.E.O has gone to get himself a coffee. He will be back shortly" An old guy looking to be in his 50's told her, gesturing her to sit.

A large and comfy chair was placed opposite to her, and she guessed it was the C.E.O's. And imagine her shock when Jonah, the one who asked her on a date walked through the door a cup of coffee in his hands.

"Our next interviewee I suppose, Ms.." Jonah trailed off, finally looking at Lily and his face morphed into an expression of surprise. "Lily Aldrin sir" she said, handing over her files and Jonah's eyes glanced down to the bracelet she was wearing, biting his lip to hide his grin.

Long story short, she got the job.

She literally asked for the first part but then I had a brainwave and made the second one🙈🙈

I loved making these, and to those who are reading this shitty work for the first time, this is the end of the dedication chapters. The main story starts from the next chapter, these are a backstory kinda thing to help you imagine the supporting cast better :)
