50.The Room

Recap: "I love you too"

Daniel was pacing, his shirt bloody along with his hands too. Carly had been rushed to the hospital, and they had wheeled her into surgery immediately. And it had been half an hour with no news.

All their friends were sitting around, Daniel was leaning against the wall, his wife's blood stained on his arms. Nurses and other passing by were looking at him weirdly, but he wasn't in the mood to care. 

"Daniel you should change or something" Clementine softly said and Daniel didn't bother responding. "Daniel you haven't eaten in two days change and we'll get something to eat" Lily said.

"Shes dying and you want me to care about how I fucking look?" Daniel snapped back. "No bro, she wouldn't want you to look like this" Jonah began, but was cut off by Daniel's family rushing down the hallway.

"Daniel! oh my-" Keri stopped short, her eyes scanning her sons appearance. "You look" Christian began, gulping and Daniel looked down at his shoes. The dark eye bags stated he hadn't slept in a while, his lips chapped, his hair unkept. 

"He hasn't eaten in a few days" Tahani quietly said and Keri began taking a step forward, only to be stopped by Anna. The blonde shook her head to the others as she stepped forward. "Daniel you have to change, the doctors won't let you see Carly because its unsanitary" Anna said.

Daniel looked up quickly, his eyes wide. "T-They won't let me see her? They can't do that I'm her husband" Daniel said, panic evident in his eyes. "They won't if your bloody Dani. We'll get you cleaned up quickly yeah? We got clothes" Anna said, gesturing to Christian holding a bag.

"Will they let me see her after?" Daniel asked quietly and Anna nodded as she led him over to a bathroom, and told him to clean himself up. "He's completely whipped" Zach said and Jack nodded.

"Which is why I'm worried in case something happens to Carly" Corbyn said and Tahani whacked him in the head. "Be positive, Shes strong, she'll get through it" Lottie said. Daniel came out a few minutes later, no longer bloody.

He was in jeans and a hoodie, his face still showing he was tired. "I'll go get us all something to eat" Tyler said after a few minutes, walking away. It took another two hours, before the doctor finally walked out.

"Family of Carly Seavey?" The doctor announced and everyone looked up as Daniel walked closer. "You are her?" The doctor asked. "Her husband, is she ok?" Daniel asked and the doctor sighed.

"She has lost a lot of blood, her body temperature was low, causing her to have hypothermia, seems it got worse with her wet, uhm, clothes? But anyways, her body has been tortured with drugs and alcohol, which means once she wakes up you need to make sure she doesn't touch drugs other than her medicines" The doctor told Daniel.

"But is she ok? Can I see her?" Daniel asked him who looked at the floor before looking back up. "I really don't know how to say this, but shes in the ICU and she had hit her head sometimes, the electricity contributed to everything" The doctor said.

"Contributed to what?" Daniel asked, confused but hoping it was nothing serious. But his next few words made Daniel's heart stop, his eyes wide filling up tears quickly. "No no no your lying. Please tell me your lying" Daniel broke down but the doctor sighed.

"I'm really really sorry. You can see her, just be careful" The doctor said, before walking, leaving a fake blond slide down the wall, tears gushing like a waterfall. "He's lying" Daniel whispered, trying to console himself as the others rushed to him.

Carly let her eyes flutter open, seeing herself in a dark abyss. She looked around confused, wondering where everyone was. 'Maybe I died' Carly thought, looking around. She scanned the room like thing, noticing the room was divided, black part of the room ending with a line separating it and a white room. 

At the end of the white room, was a blinding white light, and she could make out a door in the middle of the light. And beside that door was another one, that said 'life' in fancy letters making her realize she needed to take that door.

But where was she? Ignoring that, she began walking forward, passing a small window but not lingering to look as she ran to the white part of the room at full speed. Only to hit an invisible barrier and get thrown back.

Wincing, she rubbed her head lightly and stood up, finally taking a look at the large window. And Carly gasped when she saw herself, on a bed with wires hooked up to her, and tubes coming out of her mouth and nose.

The her on the bed was in a hospital gown, laying still. She saw Daniel standing close to her, sobbing hard, but what irked her was that Leanna was comforting him. No, the brunette girl would never backstab her like that. 

'Or would she?' and as Carly had that thought, she began panicking lightly, making machines hooked up to the girl on the bed beeped loudly. Doctors ran in, pushing everyone out, Daniel refusing to walk out.

"I will not, thats my fucking wife" She heard him, and felt her heart relax, maybe he did like her after all. "Let me to her" Daniel was yelling and she couldn't help but smile softly, wanting to go back to him.

The machines stopped beeping as Daniel finally got to her on the bed, and the doctors looked at each other before sighing. "We'll have to move her to the private ICU's shes more stable with him with her" She heard a doctor say. 

Daniel's hands were cupping one of hers as he leaned down and whispered into her ear. "I don't know if you can hear me, but i'll always be here" he whispered, making Carly's eyes lightly water as she watched him, and when the doctors discussed further, she finally found out what was happening.

"Shes comatose"

I did update today as promised soo ur welcomeeee. I may or may not be coming in with a double, depending on how fast I writee. 

Idk if there are private ICU's in hospitals but les pretend yeah? Along with the fake room, light, door and all that yeah

I don't have much to say except all of you guys are so so so sweet in ur comments, unless its directed to Jake or sometimes to kill me-

Lowkey wanna make a sequel where Jake causes trouble again but I got other books in m drafts an other ideas so ehehe, not happening😌
