"Carly?" Someone shook her awake and she rubbed her eyes to see Daniel standing there, shirtless. "Its...3 in the morning what Daniel" She groaned, trying not to cry as the day's memories hit her.

"You remember how Zach said Tahani was getting letters?" Daniel said and Carly nodded. "We got a similar letter. It's addressed to me, I haven't opened it yet though" Daniel said and Carly sat up. She noticed Daniel was wearing latex gloves, holding the letter in his hand.

"Smart" she complimented him for the gloves and Daniel smiled. She dragged the duvet away and Daniel placed the letter down. He slowly slid the picture out, Carly's eyes widening at the note written.

'She's quite beautiful. Think she would look better naked?😉. We do though' 

Daniel looked up at her, before placing it back and sealing the envelope again. He slid it into their bedside drawer, before tossing the gloves into the trash. He sat down, watching Carly in deep thought. Then she slowly crawled over to him, straddled him and kissed him.

Daniel pulled away frowning. "Carly what are you-" He began but Carly kissed him again. It wasn't normal, soft or harsh. It was more desperate, like she was trying to loose herself in the kiss. Daniel pulled away again, and Carly flung her shirt off, connecting their lips again and Daniel pulled away for the third time.

"Woah, What are you doing?" He said, rolling them over so she was on the bed and he was sitting. "Take it. I don't want it anymore. I hate guarding it like some treasure. Its better you than them Daniel, please" Carly broke down and Daniel stared at her eyes wide.

"Carly I'm not letting them touch even a hair on your head" Daniel said, pulling her onto his lap and into a hug. "I don't like this. Please Daniel" She sobbed and Daniel shook his head. "Thats taking advantage Carly. Your not mentally stable-" Daniel said and Carly cut him off.

"Then put me in a mental asylum" Carly cried and Daniel shook his head. "No I'm not. Carly your wonderful. We can get through this. Together ok?" Daniel asked and Carly continued crying into his shoulder.

He slowly rocked them back and forth, Carly falling asleep within a few minutes. Daniel slowly placed her on the bed, and grabbed his laptop. He began typing out an email, requesting a meeting. He glanced at Carly, dried tears on her face.

He had to protect her, no matter what. He sighed, before requesting another official contract to hand over the company. He began researching on similar happenings and it was 4am when he received a call from the police department, recognising the number he had previously exchanged with the head.

"Is this Daniel Seavey?" A voice sounded. "Yes this is he" Daniel responded and the voice cleared their throat. "Sir we're calling about Mr and Mrs.Difflin's autopsy report. Sir there's traces of speedball on Mr.Difflin and Mrs.Difflin has traces of Ecstasy on her" The officer said and Daniel's eyes widened.

"Sir, we understand that they are your in-laws and we request you to check their house for any traces. If you would like, we can carry out a secret check without any exposure to the media" The officer said and Daniel blinked.

"Uh yeah sure. We'll be there in the morning" Daniel said before hanging up the call. He ran his hands through his hair in frustration. Too much had taken place in the last 24hours. And then, his phone rang again and he groaned. 

Noting the caller id to be Anna, he answered the call surprised. "Daniel?..." Her voice sounded and Daniel felt his eyes fill up with tears. "Yeah?" he croaked, his voice brittle. "I heard about Carly's parents. Take care of her. But I wanted to also tell you something" Anna whispered. 

"I will. Wh-What is it?" He asked. "D-Daniel. H-He texted me" Anna whispered and Daniel knew her well enough to know she was on the verge of breakdown. "What did he type?" Daniel asked and Anna whimpered. "I'll forward it to you. But please don't tell Christian I called you" Anna whispered and Daniel nodded, before realising she couldn't see him.

"S-Sure" He said and Anna hung up. His phone's notification went off, and his jaw clenched when he saw the text. "Are you coming with Christian tomorrow?" He texted back. "Why so you can ruin her life again?" came the message.

Daniel realised it was probably Christian. His phone rang, and he answered timidly. "I TOLD YOU TO FUCKING STAY AWAY FROM HER" Christian screamed into the phone. "I-" Daniel began, the sensitive boy shining through as he got up from the bed.

"NO. I AGREED TO HELP YOU ONLY IF YOU STAYED AWAY" Christian yelled and Daniel's eyes were dripping tears. "CHRISTIAN I FUCKING CALLED HIM" He heard Anna yell and a loud thud, probably the phone falling. "Why did you call him?" he heard Christian ask their sister, his voice soft now. 

"That doesn't fucking concern you. I will do whatever I want with my brother" He heard Anna say, and Daniel slid down the wall. "Anna-" he heard Christian say and Anna cut him off. "We're going over tomorrow and helping him. End of story" He heard Anna say and Daniel screwed his eyes shut, tears dripping faster.

"Daniel?" he heard is sisters soft voice and he began sobbing, not able to hold it in anymore. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry" Daniel sobbed into the phone. "Daniel its ok" Anna said and Daniel sobbed harder. "No it isn't" He sobbed as he saw Carly sit up in bed, rubbing her eyes.

"We'll talk about this tomorrow, ok?" Anna said softly and Daniel mumbled an "ok" as she hung up the call. Tears were still dripping as Carly walked closer to him. She kneeled down in front of him and he looked at her through blurry eyes. She slowly pulled him into a hug and he held her close, his head in her neck.

"You'll be fine"

Ok, emotional chapter, Ik. I felt it too, don't worry. I actually had tears in my eyes when Daniel went "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry". Probs cuz Ik why he's apologising oop-

For the first time in my life, I actually cried while writing the chapter oh my gosh.

I know ya'll are wayyyy to curious, but I can't tell you guys right now and I feel very bad, ughhhh.
