Recap: "Something's wrong"

"How long has he been like this Lily?" Daniel asked the brunette who shrugged. "Since I started working on your case. But we won and Jonah hasn't changed" Lily frowned and Daniel looked at Carly who just shrugged.

(Somewhere in L.A)

"She's changed. more quiet" was the first thing Jake heard and he smirked. "Bitches like her need to be put down, what else blue eyes"  Jake asked and the guy on the other side sighed, knowing there was no arguing with Jake on the names.

"Daniel seems to really care about her" The guy added and Jake began laughing. "This keeps getting better. Once I get my hands on Carly, I can ruin both of them in one go" Jake cackled and the guy on the other side sighed.

"Why do you hate them so much?" The guy asked curiously and Jake laughed. "Daniel has done a lot of things that got me in trouble. I can't wait till Carly finds out he's a murderer" Jake laughed and heard a gasp on the other side.

"Who did Daniel murder?" The guy asked curiously and Jake laughed. "Carly's gonna freak when she realizes that the guy she's in love with was the reason her precious Oscar died" Jake laughed, hearing another loud gasp on the other side. 

"No way" The guy gasped and Jake just laughed. "And I want to be the one to tell her, when everything is a go and I finally get her, I'll tell her" Jake said and the guy sighed. "I know what your thinking. Carly'll go running back to Daniel. But thats only if Daniel wants her back. Which means it's time to send him reminders of everything that happened" Jake smirked.

"How?" The guy frowned and Jake laughed. "I'll send a message to Anna, maybe pay her another visit" Jake smirked . "Well they'll get suspicious. I need to go Jake" The guy said and Jake hummed, a wide smirk on his face.

"Keep me up to date, we'll begin phase 2 tomorrow" Jake said and the guy nodded on the other side. "Yea ok I'll be ready" The guy said and Jake smirked at the thought. "Pick up the gun in the afternoon tomorrow" Jake said and the guy agreed before hanging up.

She would be his, Daniel's got no shit on him.

"Any idea on whats going on?" Clementine asked, her eyebrows raised at the couple who were exchanging knowing glances. "Well we don't know for sure, but have either of you received any threats?" Daniel asked Lily who shook her head a no.

"Then I don't know" Daniel shrugged, his thumb still rubbing Carly's knuckles while her head was on his shoulder. "Hey guys" Jonah smiled coming back and everyone nodded, smiling at him.

"Where the heck did you go" Lottie asked, baffled as Eben came back with a bowl of popcorn. "The pantry, want some popcorn?" He asked, extending the bowl and Carly hesitantly reached for one. 

Daniel sighed at her insecurity, and grabbed a handful. As Carly finished eating her one popped kernel, he extended his palm and Carly looked at him with a small frown. "No your eating" Daniel stated sternly and Carly sighed, taking a bit more as she chewed on the kernels.

"Ya'll cute" Tahani said and Carly stuck her tongue out at the younger girl. "Your telling me shes older?" Jack said and Carly pouted. "Lottie's more immature" Carly argued and Lottie flipped her hair.

"Immature is the new normal" She said and Racheal raised her eyebrows. "Isn't it weird is the new normal?" She asked and Lottie looked around helplessly before randomly humming. "She needs mental help" Lily shook her head, a small smile on her face.

"Your telling me" Carly giggled. 'Her giggles are cute' Daniel thought to himself, a small smile on his face. "Dani?" Carly's voice jolted him out of his thoughts. "Yeah?" He asked her and she shook her head smiling.

"Guess you were lost in your thoughts" Carly giggled and Daniel stuck his tongue out. "Anyways food?" Lottie asked and everyone nodded, following her to the dining table.

Over two hours later, Carly found herself back at home, in the shared bedroom. She was in her bra and underwear, her eyes scanning her body insecurely. Daniel was downstairs, on a call with Anna about something so she knew he wouldn't be up till another 20 minutes. Or so she hoped.

She traced the small scars on her wrists, wondering what was up with her friends. None of the boys looked like themselves, acting suspicious around her. Of course it wasn't the first time people betrayed her or so, Atlas and Jake had proved that.

But she felt like the boys would never do something like that, they'd rather lay down their lives. Carly scanned herself, lace underwear covering her precious parts of her body, if her body was genuinely worth anything anymore with its disgusting self.

Her blonde hair hung till her waist, her blue eyes distracted without its usual cheeriness. Everyone said they couldn't imagine how she always looked happy but she wished they knew. The sadness, the broken pieces, the wounds they rubbed salts on.

"Love you good?" Daniel asked, opening the door, freezing at the sight of her almost naked body.  "I- I-" He stuttered, his cheeks flushing pink as he slowly stepped back, while Carly made no movement to cover up.

"Um I'll wait outside, get changed" Daniel said, clearing his throat as he walked out and shut the door behind him. 'Too ugly for him' Carly thought to herself and felt Katie practically dance in joy at her shaming herself.

A tear slipped down Carly's cheek as she wished she was thinner, wished she was ore beautiful but no she wasn't. "Carly you done?" Daniel asked he opened the door, only to find her crying. "Carly?" Daniel asked, seeing her turn to look at him as she fell to the ground, crying.

Daniel rushed to her, pulling her into a hug as she cried into his shoulder. "Love" Daniel said as she cried, holding his shirt tightly. But the next two words Carly spoke broke his heart.

"I'm ugly"
