48.The Chair

Recap: "Please Eben don't"

"Why is everything spinning" Carly slurred, holding her head. "Jake leave her please" She heard Daniel's voice, but Carly couldn't focus enough to react to her husbands voice. "Please Jake fucking stop it" She heard again but her world was spinning like a ferris wheel, only slightly faster, with more black spots dancing around.

"Uhhhhh it kinda hurts" She whined, falling flat on her back. "Jake-" She heard again but she heard laughter after that from Jake. "These results are wow" Charles said. "Yeah unexpected, how do you feel Dani boy?" Jake asked the blond on the phone.

"Jake please" Daniel was practically pleading but Jake shook his head. "Its ketamine by the way Daniel, but we got more shit upcoming" Jake said before quickly ending the call. "Uh why is everything blurry" Carly slurred and Jake shook his head, amused.

"This is actually funny" Charles said and Jake nodded. "It is isn't it?" Jake said, walking out with Charles, leaving the blond girl all alone. An hour went by, and Carly was shivering, her cold clothes, well underwear and the freezing floors causing her chills.

She couldn't sleep, effects of the drugs she bet because her body was worn out. Carly was curled in the corner, knees pulled upto her chest, as she rocked back and forth silently. All she wished was she could be in Daniel's arms again.

She hated this, she was practically dying.

(Timeskip 3 days)

"No no we can't do any of this without knowing WHERE she is" Daniel groaned, pulling at his hair. "Daniel we know but the police are doing their best to track her down" Racheal said, comforting the fake blond.

"I know they are, I just wish they would track her down faster" Daniel sighed and everyone looked at him in pity. They understood that this man was the one most affected, because even though they had known the girl longer, these two were married, intertwined by law.

Daniel's phone rang, and he saw an incoming facetime from Jake. He gazed at it, exhaling to stabilize himself before answering. Everyone could see the screen as it connected, showing Carly curled up in the corner.

Her hair was no longer just blond, dirt matting it down, the silky shine or gloss no longer there. Her bright blue eyes were dull, the sclera no longer white but a shade of red. Her eyebags were deep, her lips chapped and she was slouched, her skin dirty like her hair.

And it absolutely broke Daniel to look at her like that, the girl who put a smile on his face and he couldn't put one on hers in return. "Jake stop doing this to her" Daniel spoke, repeating his phrases but Jake laughed as usual.

"Today Daniel, we're stepping things up a notch" Jake said, a small smirk on his face. "No Jake this is too much already please stop" Daniel begged him but Jake shook his head, watching Charles drag a chair in.

Charles then leaned down, grabbing Carly and tossing her onto the chair, the blond not fighting back as they strapped her down onto the chair. "Now Daniel, its simple. We gave her Elavil, an antidepressant. And now, we're giving her alcohol" Jake said, showing him Carly's mouth being forced open and liquid being poured.

Carly wasn't even fighting back, her body language showing she was exhausted. Eben came into the frame and Charlotte's eyes welled up with tears, the other girls comforting her. Eben hooked up a few wires to machines, before connecting them to the chair.

"The chairs metal" Jonah gasped and thats when Daniel realized he was right, and he knew what was going to happen. "No Jake don't do this" Daniel said, but exactly then, Jake pressed a button on the chair.

Carly shuddered rapidly, before screaming out loud. "S-Stop it" She whimpered as Jake pressed the button again, her body slumping against the chair as the electricity stopped. Jake smirked, before pressing it again, making Carly scream out loud again.

"Jake please, I'll sign the goddamn paper" Daniel said, going to his last resort. Jake raised his eyebrows, pressing the button again, letting her body rest for a second. "Daniel no!" Tahani exclaimed but he glared at her hard.

"Will you now" Jake smirked and Daniel hesitated but nodded anyway, knowing his top priority was to get Carly safe, and not be tortured so he could be in pain. "N-No" Carly's soft voice interrupted and Jake looked at her, so did Daniel through the phone.

"Carly, doll shut up this is a conversation for the men" Jake said, and Daniel clenched his fingers lightly at his nickname for her, keeping himself composed however. "Will you sign the divorce papers Daniel? Your last time to change your choice" Jake said.

"D-Dani p-please don't. I-I'm begging y-you" Carly said, and for the first time since she had been kidnapped, for the first time since all the torture she endured, for the first time in almost a week, Carly let a tear drop.

"P-please D-Daniel don't" She begged and Daniel's heart broke at her tone, the fact that he couldn't keep her safe, something he as her husband should have done. "I-I can't bear to be a H-Henderson. I r-refuse to b-be any-anyone b-but a S-Seavey-" Carly spoke, before Jake pushed the button again, making her scream loud.

"Jake please stop it" Daniel said, and Jake obeyed for once, pressing the button to stop the electricity. "Will you sign the divorce papers Daniel?" Jake asked once again, and Daniel knew it was the last time.

Carly had tears running down her face, shaking her head as fast as her exhausted body would let her. All of their friends were looking at Daniel sadly, like they knew whatever was his decision, they couldn't change it. And so, Daniel looked up at Jake once more, knowing he was doing it for the better.

"No"

Just a note, shes not been kidnapped for 5 days, the 3 days timeskip were the same drug testing crap.

Um I honestly thought of cutting off some of the book and making it a sequel but 1.Too much work and 2.It might be too short.

This book hit 56 chapters, might last till max 70 I hope🤔
