Everyone started arriving. Debra had already set out the table with all the fixings and Aaron was walking in with the meat off the grill. Some were sitting and some were standing. Aaron and Debra stood at the end of the table. Everyone was talking and having a good time. The little ones running around because her sister brought her daughters and grandsons. Debra's grandson was running around with them as well. This house was happy being full. Debra felt it.

Aaron started speaking up. "Hey everyone! Can I get your attention?" They quieted down. "I am Aaron, some of you have met me and others have not." He smiled and looked at all of them.

Debra cut in. "Aaron and I have been seeing each other for a while now. You know me it took a while before I introduce anyone to our family. We brought you here because we have alot of big news for you and it was easier to just get all of you together." They murmured amongst themselves.

"So like Debra said, we have some big news." He grabbed Debra's hand. First off, I love this little lady." He leaned over to give her a kiss. "Second, well she said yes!". He lifted her hand and showed the ring.

Everyone clapped her daughter was crying in joy. Her sister crying as well she was the emotional one. Her mom was sitting there beaming.

He held out his hands before everyone could get up to come hug and stuff. They settled down confused.

This time Debra spoke. "Well since I said yes..." She waved her arm referring to the house. "The house was my gift."

Several oh my goshes and holy shits and some clapping.

"Ok ok settle down one last big announcement." They looked at her expectantly. What more could they have. "I know it's kind of weird but, I'm pregnant, with twins." There was a small silence.

"Yes she said it, she is pregnant with twins!" Aaron laughed at their shock.

Then chaos broke out full of hugs and kisses and congrats and tummy touches. The house was so filled with love.

The chaos died down some and everyone was so excited about everything. The afternoon was absolutely amazing.

Fred came over and stood with his friend. "Man when you do it, you do it big buddy." He laughed and slapped Aaron on the back. "You ready?" He asked seriously.

"Are we ever ready for such a big change. Everything is happening all at once. I am a little overwhelmed, but it's all good." He smiled at his friend.

"I remember someone saying she wasn't their type, what happened to that guy?" Fred chuckled.

Aaron laughed. "Guess my heart proved me wrong."

"Well you have a large ready made family here bud."

"Yeah, isn't it great!" Aaron sighed as he looked around at everyone. His family now.

Debra came over and hugged Fred and then went and wrapped her arms around Aaron. He lowered his head to kiss her.

She stood next to him with his armed draped over her shoulders. "Aaron?" She looked at him with a horrified look. "Did you call Darcy?"

"Well crap! No I didn't. Shit let me go call her." He stepped out to the back porch.

He dialed her number and she picked up right away. "Hey Dad! What's wrong?" She said playfully.

"Nothing is wrong, why would you think that?" He chuckled.

"Duh!! Because you never call me."

"Well I do have some news... " He trailed off. "I want you to come over so we can tell you"

"Well I'm at a friend's house right now. I can come over tomorrow."
