I finally got 100 reads on this story, so i'm pretty excited about that!

I know thi chapter is really short, but there was nothing I could do to make it longer. I think it's perfect as it is, so enjoy(:

"Moxie!!" I heard my mom call from downstairs. I was getting ready to go meet Harry at the old playground.

I marched myself to the stairs, and looked down on her. She was wearing dress clothes, and her hair was straightened. Not pulled up in a ponytail.

"Yes?" I asked. I pulled out my phone to check the time. I was already late. Damnit.

"Watch Maddie and Mav for me? I have to go to a clients ceremony now." She didn't even allow me time to respond, and she was already disapeared out of the door.

I opened my messages, and began to text Harry. I vowed to myself that I would tell him how I felt today. Come clean.

"Plans changed.. meet me at my house?" I sent the text before I could delete it, and slipped my phone into my pocket.

*****

I bit into a soft cookie, just as the doorbell rang. I handed the rest of the cookie to Mav, who was begging for one.

"I got it!" I bellowed, but apparently Maddie beat me to it.

"Harry!" She cried, and jumped into his arms. They both beared huge smiles, which reminded me that I really needed to do this.

"Hey, Harry." I greeted him with a smile as he let go of my sister. Mav and Maddie ran off upstairs. Perfect.

"Hey." He said awkwardly. I could tell he found it weird to be back in my house. I'm sure it would be vice versa, too.

"Sorry I bailed on the park. I got stuck with babysitting." I told him. His face lifted.

"It's alright, I love those rugrats."

I think my heart melted.

We started up the stairs into my room. This was super awkward. I threw some clothes off my bed and into my hamper. He lowered himself on to my bed, and stretched out. A small giggle escaped my lips at his gesture.

"So, whatsup?" He asked, the curious tone in his voice becoming dominant.

I sat on the ground, and leaned up against the wooden wardrobe. I pulled my knees to my chest. I had to do this.

"Harry, I still love you."

*FLASHBACK*

"Happy birthday, Love." My heart warmed, and a soft feathery kiss was planted on my forehead.

It was a month from our three year anniversary, and everytime he said 'I love you' or kissed me, I felt like a scoop of ice cream that sat out in the sun too long.

The weather was irregular today. Instead of pouring rain, or dark clouds at the least, it was sunny, and the birds were chirping.

I inspected the view out the bay window of my room, as his hands hands found their way to my hips.

"I wonder why it's so.. beautiful out today." I whispered.

"I asked God for a perfect day. Just for my perfect best friend." He whispered back.

He whipped me around, and his lips met mine.

But he was wrong. I wasn't perfect, he was.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

His mouth gaped open. I was waiting for the hurt. The words that would let me down.

"Moxie.. I'm engaged." His hands ran through his curls. I shoudn't have done this. I ruined everything. Now we can't even be friends if we tried.

Tears spilled out my eyes, distorting my view. But even with my vision blurred, I knew he was right there in front of me.

"But that doesn't mean I don't feel the same way." He whispered, and pulled me into him.
