This Chapter is Dedicated to @ameliaxpowell because I remember her being the first one to vote on this story, so yeah. Plus she was the first to comment on the previous chapter who she thinks a certain person is. Well Amelia, let's see what you think after this chapter :)

I’ve been up all morning and afternoon on my computer. I was clicking away, adding things to my cart and getting the best deals from stores without having to leave my own bed, which was wonderful because then I’d be in stores arguing with other customers about who grabbed the last shirt or not.

Honestly, I only shopped to the great amounts when I was stressed or anxious, and right now, I’m on the verge of breaking my mouse. I was still thinking about what had happened last night, and why Joe had suddenly stormed out of my house, practically dragging Alfie with him. I would have expected it the other way around, but it wasn’t.

I looked at the online cart I had. Thanks to the sales, my total barely touched two hundred pounds. Without a second thought, I’ve put in my information and received a message that my order should arrive in four business days.

Sighing, I closed my laptop and got up. I looked at my digital clock by my bed and saw that it was half past six at night. Thinking that I should at least go out, I grabbed my bag and walked down the stairs and out the door.

“Dexter, I’d like to go out,” I said to him. He just finished cleaning the windshield of the van.

“I was worried you would lock yourself up this whole day. Are you okay Alexandra?”

“I’m fine. Just tired and didn’t want to go out where everyone is rampaging through the stores. But hopefully everything has died down already.”

“Well, okay,” he agreed, wiping his hands on a handkerchief. “Let’s go.”

I got in the van and we were pulling out of the gates when my phone rang. It was Joe.

                Reluctantly, I answered it. “Hello?”

                “Hi Alex. Are you busy?”

“I was just leaving the house to go out. Why?”

“Oh, I was wondering if we could meet up at the coffee shop.”

“Will you tell me why you suddenly left last night?”

There was silence for a moment, and I could hear café’s music playing in the background.

                “Yes. I’ll explain why.”

“Okay, I’ll be there in a few.” I hung up. “Dexter, instead, just take me to the café. I’m going to meet up with Joe.”

                “Okay.”

Minutes later I arrived at the café. I thanked Dexter and walked in. Joe was sitting in the back this time, where we first met. I made my way to him and sat across from him.

                “Hi Alex,” Joe greeted me.

“Joe,” I said sternly. “Are you going to tell me what happened yesterday?

Joe signed. He was wearing a grey t-shirt, a maroon hoodie with a denim jacket pulled over it. He looked really nice, and if it weren’t for the anger I had inside, I would have complimented him.
