Chapter 3 - Re-proposing

After a month had passed Donghua and Fengjiu had fully recovered. Donghua has decided to ask for her hands in marriage once again. He was thinking of a more romantic way to propose and making her to be the happiest girl alive. He decorated the outside garden with lots of lanterns, flowers, with lots of birds and butterflies flying around. All of the decorations are in pink which are her favorite colors.

After dinner, Fengjiu played with Gungun for a few hours then tugged to sleep not long after. She was wondering where he had wandered off all this time after dinner. She knew he was up to no good when he's nowhere to be found.

"XIAOBAI..." she heard her name being called. She walks out the front door and through the front gate. She can't believe the sight with her own eyes. She walked slowly through the lighted lantern path, enjoying the pretty scenery. She was mesmerized with all the hard work that Donghua put in it to make her happy. He materializes out of nowhere and in his hands, he is holding a flower crown. The crown looks the same as the one he made from an Anchan flower in the Dream of Aranya.

"What are you doing?" she asked in surprise and giggles. "Do you like this?" he replies, Fengjiu smiles happily nodding her head. "That is good!" he says. He walks over to where Fengjiu is standing and puts on the crown on her head. She's overly in joy right now and stares into his eyes for a long while.

Donghua took a few steps back and started to kneel down on one leg. "What are you doing now?" she shockingly asks. "Xiaobai... will you marry me, be my dihou as I ask you once again?". "Donghua, you know the answer already, why do you ask again? Why else would I stay here with you if I don't want to be your... wife?" she questioned him blushing. She pulled him back up, standing and he waved his hand, a beautiful purple and pink bed appeared behind her. He turned around and sat on the bed. He then pulls her to sit on his lap, holds her tightly at the waist close to his chest, and places his chin on her head.

"Xiaobai, I know the answer already for sure, but I just want to reassure it. I know last time I failed you, but this time I won't let it end that way. We will head back to Qingqui tomorrow and talk to your parents. I know they are probably pretty mad and disappointed with me since I failed you and them. But this time I won't just have a small family gathering. I want it to be the biggest event in history. I want the whole four seas and eight far lands to know I, Donghua Zhifu Shaoyang Jun's Dihou is Qingqui, Bai Fengjiu, and Bai Gungun is my precious Gongzhu of Bihia Cangling. I know you don't like all these big celestial events because of all the traditions rules to follow. I also don't like it either but this is the only way to ensure everyone knows not to mess with you two. If anyone wants to mess with either one of you that means they will have to deal with me as well!" he just stares into her eyes.

She feels so touched by what he says. "Donghua I'm just scared, something might just happen again. Besides, when people see Gungun they will start talking about her birth. As we didn't officially get married before her birth." she said with a worried face. "WHO DARES TO SAY ANYTHING?" he roars. "I will personally let them have a piece of my Cang'he sword." he angrily said.

"Okay okay okay! Please calm down. I don't want you to trigger your mood, it will affect your health, you say you're fully recovered but you ain't." she says with a serious tone. "Now who said I'm not fully recovered?" he asked while lifting her chin. "I said! I saw you were coughing out some blood earlier yesterday, so don't lie to me." she angrily replied crossing her arms and turning away.

Donghua grabs Fengjiu's shoulders with both his hands and turns her back towards him to look her in her eyes. "Xiaobai look at me... I am fine, it was nothing really. So please don't worry about it." he promised her.

She grabs hold of his arms, "How can I not worry about anything? Did you forget? I am their only princess, do you think they will not let you off the hook that easily? I'm worried that my parents will never forgive you. Especially my dad, he's probably going to kill you when he sees you, that is my main concern. Last time, you and I almost died, I can't bear to be parted with you again." she said emotionally and nested her head in his chest. "I don't either, I don't want to part from you at all, not even for a single second." he replies petting her head.

They both stayed silent for a while in the same way they are. Donghua wants to lighten up the mood so he starts joking around. "You know I will do anything to be with you. So, I guess I will kneel down on the floor and beg for their forgiveness. I mean in the end I did save the day again right?"

She moves back a bit to stare straight into his eyes. "You seriously have really thick skin, you never feel shameless. I just hope all Gungun inherit is just your hair and nothing more." she sighs. "What? that is the truth..." he replies. "The truth...? If I wasn't there, do you think you would get out alive? It was also me and my blood from my fox heart that cured your poison... Did you already forget?" she questions him and tilts her head. "Yes, you're absolutely right, my dear. You're the one that saved me after all, if it wasn't for you I would never be able to see you again and have such a happy loving family in my eternal life." he replies and lifts her chin up and kisses her lip.

"Back to the other topic, it's not like you are the only one that had a child before marriage. Your auntie and Yehua had A'Li before their marriage, so you don't really have to be so heavy on that matter." he jokingly smirks.

She pushed him away, "What are you talking about? That is a different matter. Gugu was on her heavenly trial and she was a mortal at that time. She did get married to Yehua in that mortal life, so that doesn't count." she said seriously.

Donghua reaches out to smooth out her hair, "My dear Xiaobai, just leave me everything for me to worry about. I just want you to be the happiest dihou in this whole universe. You deserve everything the best." he whispers to her.

He kisses and embraces her over and over the whole night. He picks her up and carries her back to their chamber. He casts a sleeping spell on the whole Island and privacy barrier on their chamber. He places her slowly onto the fluffy. He lays on top of her and continues kissing her and they rolled over and over on the big bed. He no longer wants to wait, he uses his magic to remove all their clothes. She quickly felt embarrassed when he looked at her. She tries to grab the close by comforter to cover their body. He stops her, he continues to kiss her from her forehead then her nose, then down to her lips. His tongue pushed through her lips and he vigorously took hers dancing inside her mouth. She was almost running out of breath, he then kissed her down her neck and moved down to her breasts. He caressed her breasts and pinched her at the same time. He continues to kiss her, working his way down. He no longer could hold his hunger for her, he kissed her vigorously. The way he kisses her and touches her just makes her moans so much louder. Her moans just make him even more unable to control his desire at all that night.
